This is a CORE game, please check, and then double check you are putting in a CORE character.

The intention is that this game will be followed by 09-7 Salvation of the Sages.

If you are currently in a game or expect to apply a GM chronicle before play, hold off putting in the information.

To make my life easier when it comes to filling in chronicles, if you could each put in a single post with:

Chronicle: What chronicle number this is for the character
History: What scenarios has the character completed? (or been credited with); any other chronicles (special boons etc)
Name:(the player) real name (as you have it appear on your chronicle sheets)

Gold: Starting wealth you bring into the adventure. This should be the total on your previous chronicle. If you want to buy any new stuff... see further on.
Day job: include the roll or that you don't have one. If you want to use a reroll at the end just note here you may want to use a reroll. If you don't include a roll I'll be assuming you take ten. Add the actual gold amount if you want to save me looking it up...
Spend: If you want to buy anything before the scenario starts (apart from your initial 150gp if you are a new character) include it here. This will appear in the "items bought" and/or "items sold" part of the chronicle.

Ok so Bard or Rogue?

We have one Arcane and three divine casters. Not sure we need another caster. Leaning towards rogue but would be happy with the bard too.

Bard has no Disable Device skill. 27 rounds of Bardic Performance and +2 Inspire Courage. He is a decent face (Bluff +16, Diplo +15, Sense Motive +10) but for knowledges he only has Arcana and Nobility, both at +15. Decent spells but he is NOT gonna do damage. Wand of Cure light (24 charges).

Rogue has +17 Disable Device and +10 knowledge Local. High crit keen rapier for 1d6+3+4d5 sneak. +15 stealth. AC 23 which is not bad.

Hmm. Wizard pregen is pretty lame. Would rather go bard, who can roll any knowledge check and once a day take 20. Ezren is +15 in Arcana, History, Nature, and Planes. That's it. His gear is sub-par imho too. +1 cane and 10K in AC items.

Bard could be the best face too, I think.

I would sub in my Ranger 10 but he has a game scheduled for March 5th.

I have played this in classic but it isn't sounding familiar yet. The intro makes it sound like a dungeon crawl which would be awkward with a large tiger in the party.

I also have a monk 7 but it would be a step down in power.

Speaking of, Irizati is wearing Wild full plate so has decent AC as an animal. He also has augment summons if we need an extra body on the field.

Doubtful and chadius can Roshambo for the last spot. :)

About Endure Elements.

Locally we have a simple system.
If someone has a wand with plenty of charges they have it covered. It comes up rarely enough that 1 wand is usually enough.
If no one has a wand then we usually roll off and low roll spends the 2 PP then shares it.

Just checked and Lem doesn't have a wand of it.

Alternatively we can just burn spell slots for it. Irizati pretty much needs 1 slot for extended Longstrider but can use the other 4 to cover himself, Baloo, and 2 others.

Lem also has no PP to spend and cannot change his spells. All his gold, all 42 gp of it, can be donated to that cause though. :)

The rules on pregens have been updated. Your faction is the same as the character you are applying credit to. And pregens can roll day jobs if they have a skill to do so. Lem does with Perform, Don't forget the +3 bonus.

Ok. Those are some good changes. And since I only have one core character applying to that character is no problem. Irizati if you are referring to the +3 Inspire Competence bonus I fear that unless there is errata I do not know of, I cannot benefit from that. Here is the rule:

Inspire Competence:
A bard of 3rd level or higher can use his performance to help an ally succeed at a task. The ally must be within 30 feet and able to see and hear the bard. The ally gets a +2 competence bonus on skill checks with a particular skill as long as she continues to hear the bard’s performance. This bonus increases by +1 for every four levels the bard has attained beyond 3rd (+3 at 7th, +4 at 11th, +5 at 15th, and +6 at 19th).

Certain uses of this ability are infeasible, such as Stealth, and may be disallowed at the GM’s discretion. A bard can’t inspire competence in himself. inspire competence relies on audible components.

If you get a 45 or higher you earn 200 gold instead of the usual 150 cap. I don't expect to see that happen in Core though.

Lem, the fog goes all the way to the edge of the room we were just in (You can see the greyish area underneath us)
Everyone is standing in it, at present, with Lem and Jair on the edge.

Now, whether the fire elemental would burn off the fog... that's a different question. =)
If its like obscuring mist, then possibly, since a fireball would!
If its like fog cloud, then probably not, as a fireball wouldn't.

Really, this is going to be sucky if the guards and wards has put this stuff everywhere!

OK. That is what I was asking. Thanks! That also means few can see the creatures causing the will save yet. Still need to know one will save or 2 if you can see both.

Note Guards and Wards specifies Magical Fog. Nothing further.
