Gashka |
After a few minutes she gives in and allows herself to relax into his hold. She leans into him, taking in the feel and smell of him. They had all been through a lot more than most and being with him gave her comfort. As she leans into him she wraps an arm around him as well. This is who he was, he wasn't going to change....and even though he could be a bit vexing at times, she loved him with all her heart and loved everything about him. Nothing he could ever do or say could change that now. She gasps in surprise as she realizes her true feelings for him. She was in love with a pirate........oh dear, this would make family get togethers very interesting. Not that she cared one bit what anyone else thought.

Christophe pulls the scroll of See Invisibility from his pack and prepares it as before.
Spellcraft DC17: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (10) + 14 = 24
After the two hour ritual, the witch yawns and lays on his bed. "Good night, Renard."
Gashka |
Gashka yawns suddenly, the past few day's events having worn her out. She looks up at her fluffy pirate pants and after another yawn she says, "Hey Love.....I'm so tired, could we please get back?"

Tikkle |
"Sure, love. We'll have Sticks whip us up something and relax a bit. Can I help you with that, Jeggs?"

Gashka |
Gashka raises an eyebrow at Jeggs, but she's too wiped out to say anything. Instead she gives him a look that might be read as, Better watch it buddy. She then gives Jeggs a smile tired smile and a slight nod, "Thanks Jeggs, I am pretty beat. Don't really know that I feel much like eating though." She just sort of leans into Tikkle and waits till he's ready to go back to the ship.

Tikkle |
"Let's take 'er out when we get back. We've been followed by sneaky types, it'd be nice to rest easy for the night. The boys'll b!@+%, but they'll be glad to have somethin to do I'm sure. What say you? Catch the ebb tide out?"
Vallterra |
"C'mon now. You can tell me. I won't get upset. I'm here for you and I care about you."
Terra seems like she isn't sure how to saw what she wants, she fumbles in her mind the right thing to say.
look, I got my sight back, and, well ever since then, I wonder, did I loose something? I mean, I sometimes feel, I'm loosing my edge. heck I bet Gashka could sneak up on me in full plate armor.
Terra takes a step back and closes her eyes, don't move, just stand there, ok?
She concentrates, trying to feel the vibrations through the ship's deck of each of flynt's heartbeats. she tries to feel every bit of his presence there.
Gashka |
Gashka just continues to lean into him, but after he mentions the sneaky bastards she sighs and says in a calm quiet voice, "And even if they somehow manage to show up on the ship....I'll kill every single one of the bastards and wear their innards for decoration."
Tikkle |
When they arrive at the ship Tikkle makes the announcement to his crew. "Ahoy boys! Put the duff on the wind, we're spending the night at sea! Time to get you off your sorry arses!" there was son mixed carousing, but mostly it seemed that Tikkle was right, his crew was glad to be moving.

Gashka gives him a kiss on the cheek, and lets him get back to his crew as she makes her way back to his cabin. She strips out of her stained and torn clothing. She picks up the black nighty out of the box on the bed and holds it up to herself before shrugging and putting it on. It felt cool and smooth against her skin. Feeling suddenly very tired she lays on Tikkle's bed and pulls the sheet up over herself.

Lo'Laan Jin |
Jin glances at Anyka throughout their meal trying to think of ways to keep her mind off her long lost friend. "So, how did you get into the arms trade?" He finally asks.
Vallterra |
"Okay. I for one don't know anything about magic. But if you lose any or even all of your powers, you will still be special." Flynt smiles.
Terra had her eyes closed as Flynt responded, she was looking for the subtle changes in him if he was lying to her.
there were none. she stepped up and hugged him thank you she whispered to him.
Anyka Talia |
"Well you know how my mom used to be an adventurer? So she didn't have a problem....well, not too much of a problem, with me trying my hand at it. well there was a rival group, a bunch of rich jackass noble's kids really, who thought they were hot $#!+ and thought they'd steal jobs out from under the group I was in.
They decided that since they had stronger numbers they could take down the Ogrillon we'd been preparing for the night before we moved on it's lair. Yes they were that stupid, the attacked it at night.
When we got there there was blood everywhere and weapons scattered all over the place. They managed to do some damage, but most importantly, that bastard was gorging himself on thier remains. We basically rained alchemists fire on the bastard and then filled him with arrows while he was wounded and full. Most of our group was kind of grossed out by the scene, but I convinced them to gather up all the fancy damn weapons of the idiots and gave up my share of the payment for thier crap. Turns out they spent a hell of a lot more on thier weapons than they did on making sure they didn't get killed. Sold them all and found a new hobby." Anyka tells her story as they eat.
Gashka |
Gashka lays in the bed and tries to relax with the rocking of the ship, but her mind wouldn't shut off about all the things they had been through. She knew she had lost control back there, she knew it and it scared the hells right out of her. What if that happened again? What if next time she really lost it and attacked one of her friends....or Tikkle. She barely remembered kicking him when he wouldn't let go of her, and she winced at the memory. Every time she tried to close her eyes she would keep seeing the things they saw while down there, she kept hearing the screams of the people the carver was torturing and it ate away at her very soul. How could he keep getting away? Why couldn't they seem to stop him and how was it that he and what she assumed to be his little lackeys, always seemed to be one step ahead of them. It just wasn't fair....then, there were other questions running through her mind. Just random things really, what was this gothos place or whatever it was called, and why were people constantly asking her if she was from there? There were a lot of things that just didn't make sense anymore and her mind was starting to hurt as she tried to sort them out. Grunting in frustration, she took one of Tikkle's pillows and put it over her head in an attempt to shut out all the loud thoughts. "Shut up, Shut Up, Shut UP!" She said quietly but forcefully to herself....she wasn't quite sure, but she thought she might be starting to lose her mind. This was all just too much to deal with and unless something happened soon to at least answer some of the questions that were racing through her mind....Gashka feared what might happen to the rest of her sanity. Curling up into the fetal position, she holds the pillow tightly against herself and while alone in his cabin allows herself to cry. She wasn't even sure exactly why she was crying, but she knew she felt frustrated and angry over the outcome. They would find a way to destroy these evil things one day once and for all, then maybe she could stop being so frustrated, angry, and afraid.
Tikkle |
Tikkle takes the helm for the trick of riding the tides out of the harbour, but in open water he strips to just his breeches and boots to work with his crew. A few minutes in the silence was too cold, so Tikkle belted out a verse: "Now we are ready to sail for the horn!"
Several of the crew joined in with "Way, ay roll and go!"
Jeggs piped up with another line, "Our boots and our clothes are all stored in the pawn,"
Yet a few more joined in, "Timme rollickin randy dandy oh!"
Finally the whole crew sang along in rhythm with the ship while accomplishing their duties.
"Heave a pawl, oh, heave away,
Way, ay, roll an' go!
The anchor's on board an' the cable's all stored,
Timme rollickin' randy dandy Oh!"
This went on for several verses until the anchor was dropped and the ship had settled.
Tikkle now walks calmly toward his cabin, rejuvenated and hoping to calm his love with a renewed steadfastness that comes only from the sea for him.
Gashka |
So.....what you're saying is, the sea offers you comfort that I can't? Hmmm.....okay.
When Tikkle finally reaches his cabin he finds Gashka curled up on her side in the fetal position, while holding onto one of his pillows as cries softly to herself. She doesn't act as if she hears anything as you enter the cabin.

Tikkle |
yep. Remember that for years, Tikkle would not let himself love any other woman for want of you, so the sea was his only solace. And I for one admire a man who can steel himself and then be a rock for his woman. ;)
Tikkle softly pads to the bed. He expects her to jump a little at being touched, but is careful not to recoil. Sitting on the bed, the fuzzy pirate pulls Gashka onto his lap and her head to his chest. Before, he was jittery and distracted, even when his mood improved, but now his heartbeat is steady, his embrace is strong, and his whole focus is on her.

Lo'Laan Jin |
The problem with being an illusionist is they have graphically detailed imaginations. Jin pushes the grotesque image from his trained mind and finds the will to continue his meal unfazed. "Doesn't seem too much different than what we're doing now."
Gashka |
Okay....gotta give the man some props for that one.
Gashka only flinches a little at first but doesn't struggle as he pulls her to him. Being held by him like this was more soothing than all the brandy in the land. She snuggles deeper into his chest as she allows the emotional tidal wave that had been crushing her to finally be released. She cries heavily for a few minutes before they subside enough for her to speak. Her words come out as almost a whisper as she tilts her head up to look at him, "Oh Tikkle.....what's wrong....with me? I feel like I'm....losing my mind...." She puts her head back down against his chest and listens to the strong steady beat of his heart. The heart that she belonged to and that beat for her and her alone. Her soft sobs slowly give way to soft hiccups as she releases all the emotional stress she had been holding onto for the past few days.

Chris glances at Tehanna for a moment before answering. "Gashka delirat ea nocte ... nescio quomodo, vel quisquam ..."
Tikkle |
With her head laying gently on his chest she snuggles into him, "Do you...think I'm losing it?"
"Eh. I'd be worried more if you weren't. You have such a big heart, a thing I find quite attractive you know. I understand how you feel, having seen what we have, and I know you hurt even worse for those people than I can imagine. But I also know that you're still feeling. You're still there, and I dont blame you for taking it to the extreme to finish this."

Gashka |
She looks down, "I've never wanted to kill something so badly before....it's all I could think about. I wanted to rip them apart and at some point I lost control....what if that happens again? How am I gonna keep myself from hurting our friends....or you? I feel this....rage building in me....and it scares me Tikkle. I feel like I'm losing myself...." She sniffles as she tries to bury herself in his soft fur.
Anyka Talia |
"In a way you're right I guess. Selling some of that stuff got me connections to find suppliers and a means of contacting people looking for weapons. And Tikkle extended my reach both for obtaining goods and how far I could sell and ship stuff." Anyka pauses cocking her head to the side and looks at Jin for a few moments. "I know ehat you're doing you know. Thank you." she says with a smile.
Anyka Talia |
Anyka's smile widens. "You don't have to." she says leaving closer. "You are exactly what I need, Jin, exactly what I've needed for a long while." she leans in giving him a kiss, before resting her head on his shoulder.
"Getting to the bottom of all this, hunting the sick basters hunting us while helping the others to keep it together.....it's just so tiring. But I need to.....to take care of everyone y'know?"
