Round 2
The group hits her with multiple strikes. She screams in anger. She speaks to Arsil.
Then right before she casts a spell on Arsil he sees Locke speaking one word and disperses. Locke drops to the ground the same time as David.
The dog continues to attack David, first its attack of opportunity.
1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16 attack bite, 3d6 + 10 ⇒ (6, 2, 1) + 10 = 19 damage.
1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29 attack bite, 3d6 + 10 + 1d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 4) + 10 + (1) = 22 damage with fire.
Round 3
Go!
David D'Amberville |
stabilization check: 1d20 + 2 - 13 ⇒ (1) + 2 - 13 = -10
And with that I'm dead, goodbye and good luck
GM Wolf |
Yes, Vuvu would have saw the blood spurting from David and healed him first. Locke looks healthy in the sense of not having any obvious wounds. It would make sense to heal David first, I will allow it.
The canine statue has hit the group with a fire breath and now attacked David twice. Once for the Attack of opportunity and the other for its turn. David if you wish to move from the Canine, most actions would still provoke from it.
David D'Amberville |
Even if Vuvu heals me 5 pts I'll still be at - 8. I still won't be able to do anything.
David D'Amberville |
O.k. good luck
Mirage of the Gray Mountain |
With Hagrin and Arsil taking care of the ghost, Mirage finds it more important to deal with the wolf, who will probably kill the grunter if no one helps him. He gets away from the ghost, ignoring it completely (and maybe taking an AoO) to go after doggy. He steps over Locke, granting cover to Vuvu and the fallen cleric at the same time, and attacks the Dog:
PA Greatsword: 1d20 + 8 - 1 ⇒ (12) + 8 - 1 = 19! Damage: 2d6 + 8 ⇒ (5, 2) + 8 = 15
Arsil Dawnsinger |
Round 3
Spell Combat: Arcane Mark, Arcane Accuracy (swift)
Concentration: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20
Spell strike Short sword: 1d20 + 7 - 2 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 7 - 2 + 5 = 271d6 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Short Sword: 1d20 + 7 - 2 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 7 - 2 + 5 = 261d6 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Mirage of the Gray Mountain |
Mirage imagines the creature will stop attacking, so he just holds his sword and readies and attack should it come to attack them again, fire breath included.
Readied Attack: 1d20 + 8 - 1 ⇒ (19) + 8 - 1 = 26! Damage: 2d6 + 8 ⇒ (5, 3) + 8 = 16
Confirmation: 1d20 + 8 - 1 ⇒ (7) + 8 - 1 = 14! Damage: 2d6 + 8 ⇒ (5, 3) + 8 = 16
Arsil Dawnsinger |
round 4
Arsil will put a hand inside her pocket and turn toward the large dog.
Mirage of the Gray Mountain |
Still holding his greatsword, Mirage takes a step to the side to let someone see what's wrong with Locke, but keeps an ever-watchful eye on the doggy. "Is everyone alright?"
Arsil Dawnsinger |
Arsil will move up to Lock and check to see if he is breathing.
Then she will head toward the canine statue.
I don't know yet mirage but i think vuvu's timely potion saved david's life and i will wait from him to tell us how is locke
GM Wolf |
Locke is breathing.
As Arsil begins to scratch the statue, a film breaks off the armor plates, and fur begins to be exposed.
Mirage of the Gray Mountain |
"Hmmm, so he will be fine." The hobgoblin turns and moves inside the treasure chamber, to examine what's good in there. "Honestly I did not expect to see much coin from this missions but... Wow!"
David D'Amberville |
David wakes up and says "Thanks" he takes 2 potions of cure light wounds from his pack and drinks them. 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (1, 6) + 2 = 9
Arsil Dawnsinger |
It is worse then just some magical induced slumber Mirage, His mind is trapped, out of synch with everything else. The ghost might even be there and try to posses or fuse with him. I am going to have to go inside his mind and rescue him. I have no idea how long this is going to take me.
She scratch the newfound fur
Alright mirage can you please lock this door please? I am leaving the rest up to you vuvu.
She goes to sit in a corner of the room sits in a meditative state her training sword on her lap, relaxes her breathing and .....
Goes for the rescue.
GM Wolf |
Vuvu, fortitude save DC 20.
GM Wolf |
*Edited
Arsil Dawnsinger |
Arsil Dawnsinger |
Her lips barely moving those closest to her can hear this faint whisper Sleep Now, For I summon you all to me.
You all feel tired as the voice's whisper reaches you ears. But you know that if you had wanted to resist the effect you could very easily.
Hagrin |
Hagrin stares for a long moment, as Arsil simply decides to drift away into sleep, going inside Locke's mind to rescue his soul...
It is all too alien to him, and he looks around to the others for answers, though all of them seem too immersed in their own affairs, while Vuvu is saving lives in a corner.
At Arsil's whisper, a broad smile opens in Hagrin's face - "Guys, we really cannot miss out on this" - he comments, sitting down next to his sleeping companion, as comfortable as he can, and whispering in her ear - "I am on my way Arsil" - letting the unnatural sleep wash over with a smile on his lips.
GM Wolf |
Mirage of the Gray Mountain |
"Again we go after the missing sheep..." The hobgoblin sits down in a corner, his Greatsword over his lad, and close his eyes to let the effect take place. His alert senses beeped high in his mind, thinking it would be stupid to let yourself fall on such a simple trap, but he have made this before, to save Vuvu, and it didn't end up that bad. So he ignored his senses and tried to pass out, focusing on the void.
_____________________
As he finds himself on a place he's never been, Mirage looks confused.
"I know we are in Locke's mind, but what is this place?"
David D'Amberville |
David watches as wounds open up on Vuvu, but before he can say thank you falls asleep.
Arsil Dawnsinger |
Feeling people arriving she will emerge from her trance like state Ha so good of you to come. Let me give you the quick run down. As i had originally thought, the ghost somehow managed to posses / take refuge in his mind. They both are inside that inn. We are going to go inside and defeat her once and for all. Two words of warning without lock and since vuvu isn't here there won't be much healing to be had. Now Also since we are all in the same "plane" of existence she isn't probably a ghost here but she is also what she was before becoming a ghost. So possibly more powerful.
Arsil will cast a detect magic spell
But then again so am I
GM Wolf |
Locke gets healed as the staff takes essence from Vuvu.
--------------------------------------
Arsil's weapons materialize, as do the other's.
Mirage you would likely see yourself as whole, so you would not be hurt in the dream world, unless your mind can't wrap around it then your wounds would be present.
The mechanical little dog speaks in the same strange language to Arsil.
"She created me, a great wizardess in her own time. Perhaps you should talk with her and see what she wants. A direct path would not be advised."
Arsil Dawnsinger |
Well if we are already lets go
No specific results from my detect magic i take it.
