The robed figure intones in a deep voice; "So, you have brought me here vampire..." there's obvious disdain in his deep voice, along with a hint of a French accent mixed with something deeper.

It moves over to the table standing behind his chair and looks down over the seated figures - virtually staring at Laurence.

The ghouls move into the room, a trio of them taking up guard positions. Whilst Lord Laurence blusters and bristles profusely; "My dear fellow, it's excellent that you agreed to join us." He says misreading the mood of the third party there for the talks.

Only years of practicing in front of audiences allows Danny to hide the shudder he feels as the newcomer enters the room.

The singer isn't foolish enough to take the tall man (?!?) up on his obvious challenge of a soul gaze. Danny himself didn't have the required access to 'magic' to cause it, but his past experiences with his own Third Eye made him fairly certain that he didn't want a Soul Gaze with THIS creep to be his first.

But reacting like almost everyone else in the room gave Danny a chance to scope out the newcomer. And process what he was going to do about Andrew and Bunny's current state.

Perception: 4d3 - 8 + 2 ⇒ (3, 1, 2, 2) - 8 + 2 = 2

'Alright, so Andrew and Bunny have had dealings with Fae before. And have had the Fairy Whammy put on them. Not surprising, considering Bunny's proclivity for 'sharing the love'. <Ahem> So somehow Lord Hoidy-Toidy's Vamp-gaze can counter it? Maybe? But he's released them? So the FIRST whammy is now back in effect. Which might be a good thing, IF Her Highness is feeling cooperative. That pretty much means Andrew and Bunny are under OUR control. Wait,... WHY would Little Lord Vampleroy release his control of the Wolves, knowing that Morticia here is a Fae? He wouldn't give us an advantage unless,...'

Danny takes a swift, surreptitious second glance at the newcomer.

'Either he wants us to have Andrew and Bunny on our side for some reason,... against Him?!? OR,... he knows that This guy can take control?!??? Who IS this guy anyway?!?'

'Sigh. I'm glad it's not TOO easy. I wouldn't want to be bored or anything.'

Male Warrior-Bard of Old; Herald of Brigid Stress: P: OOOO M:OOOO S:OOO; Fate Points: 3;

Kenneth keeps his formal stance as the man approaches, looking slightly away as a sign of deference, rather than from a refusal to accept the soulgaze. Wouldnae be polite.. and I dinnae ken what he'd see ay me, which, given Molly being there an all, wouldnae be the brightest thing I could dae... Heck, it'd almost be as hair-brained as one ay Danny's plans...

That thought causes the slightest pull on the right side of his mouth before he pushes down the chuckle, and keeps his stoic face as he turns his attention back to Danny, raising an eyebrow in question, silently asking, Any bright ideas? Do ye ken what we've gotten our fool selves intae?

He starts to scan the room again, I'd like tae think that betwixt the tae ay us we can figure things out a'fore they turn lethal...though considering our past history, I'd say the odds ay nae having this go at least a wee bit sideways are remote...

Danny:
The robed figure looks at the werewolves and isn't best pleased, there's a slight shake of his head. Whether at the situation, or the pair letting/being put in that position.

Molly cuts Laurence off with a shuffle of her papers; the self-styled Lord of York goes white with rage.
"Now, my Mistress has you here. She wishes to negotiate for certain rights and knowledges. There's a certain compound she'll like to be able to distribute, requiring your expertise and a minor spell that needs to be broken." Molly waves away the later, as if it's of no import.

Laverna taps her chin, to signify that she's listening whilst Andrew warms her boots. "Payment? And what specifics?"

Laurence has moved to one side, near Mr Aggogo who's calming presence is restraining the volatile vampire.

The lawyer continues; "We'd like safe delivery through the Never-never and a few specific ingredients harvested from there. It'd be a monthly delivery, to arrive here and be taken in by our friendly Harehills Yardies for distribution. There's enough of a migratory & student population that it's impact & your role will be unnoticed by mundane's."

The robed figure speaks; "My Role?!" he has a Eastern European brogue, but heavily influenced by French. From behind him the door opens, drawing sharp breath from the ghoul guards in the room.

Changling Spellsinger Physical: [] [] [] Mental: [] [] [] [] Social: [] [] [] [] FP:10

Danny has to fight hard to keep from smiling at Laurence's swallowing his anger. For some reason seeing the egotistical vampire go apoplectic with rage tickles Danny's funny bone immensely. But he soldiers through and keeps a straight face. He turns slightly to see and listen to Molly better, and to prevent further temptation to laugh.

"New guy didn't seem to like the werewolves. Can't read him well. Hard to tell if he doesn't like canines in general, or just their current servitude? So what's your story Mister European Guest Star?" Danny muses.

Being no stranger to the fast-talk, it doesn't escape Danny's notice that Molly is delaying her description of payment until after she has described the deal, OR that she casually glossed over 'breaking a spell' as a minor detail. In Danny's (not-so humble) experience, NOTHING to do with REAL magic was ever 'Minor'.

Danny begins watching Molly carefully, listening to her speak yes, but paying more attention to HOW she says it, and more importantly, what she DOESN'T say. So focused is he that he nearly hisses in surprise himself when the ghouls react to the door opening.

Male Warrior-Bard of Old; Herald of Brigid Stress: P: OOOO M:OOOO S:OOO; Fate Points: 3;

Kenneth feels his hackles rise, Aye, typical Molly. I'll wager the 'wee' matter ay the spell is far more than a minor matter... and like as nae the biggest ask.

Into the room walks a talk man with a precise beard, his dapper suit is in stark contrast to his blank eyes. The man, Henri Miller, walks almost like an automaton as he slowly enters the room. Stiffly he scans the room, surveying the proceedings with an aloof demeanour.
Beside him is a sickly looking woman, wan, of middling years pretty but her eyes are pale, too pale. They see to say that they've seen things of such esoteric and arcane malediction. Unlike the man beside her though her movements are fluid as she takes his elbow and moves him away to one side, near the grate that Sal is hiding inside.

Danny:
You've seen photo's of the woman before, that's Henri's dead wife....or the spitting image of her.

For the first time; Lady looks a bit rattled; "Who're they?" she asks her voice not betraying her emotions, but Molly expression is one of such that an unknown element has been introduced.

Lawrence replies gloatingly and smoothly; "Just thralls..." Obviously hiding something.

It's then you notice the robed figure with burnished eyes hasn't taken them off the pair since they entered.

Kenneth resists the urge to cock his head, Well, noo.. This has the look ay something a wee bit interesting... , then quickly looks over to Danny, jerking his head toward the robed figure, Hope ye be paying attention, lad.

Danny blinks. Twice. The only indication that something is wrong to those that know him. A glance from any of the others shows that he is now in 'Full Performance' mode, (as opposed to his previous 'Having Fun' mode).

"Thralls? Really? Danny retorts just as smoothly and full of himself as Lawrence. His smug look to Lawrence almost sings, 'I know something you don't know!'

"And here I thought this meeting was for Important invited guests only. My Lady does not take well to having her time wasted." Danny points out with impeccable politeness.

Coming from the apparently unarmed dandy, in the middle of a room full of magically-powered malcontents and otherworldly creatures, the subtle threat seems very ominous indeed.

Molly sniffs hard at Dannys' comment, to which Laverna the Sidhe Lady retorts softly with fluid voice. "My concierge is correct, I don't want my time wasted despite the lovely gift." She ruffles Andrew's hair. "Plus I doubt, any spell-ritual is but a small thing - the payment will be great, especially if you continue to obfuscate."

Mollys face drops slightly at the insult until the Mademoiselle taps her on the arm in reassurance and to continue to the real meat of the problem. She shuffles her papers with a hint of nervousness; "Certainly, we require concessions from the gentleman." She nods to the robed figure; "Especially with regards to the embargo from Holland and actions of July 28th 1912." He inclines his head conceding he might be willing to listen.

Molly addresses the Winter Emissary; "From you, we propose that firstly we gain access to a route in the Never-Never, that takes a cargo from Holland to York - open once a month and in perfect safety with a journey time both transitory and empiric of no more than 1 day. That your concierge negotiates with the Triads to ensure that we can distribute the product on his turf, with recompense appropriate. And a small number of ingredients taken from your lands. She pauses significantly, taking a small nervous breath; "In exchange...."
"Lady Laverna, we know your Queen sent Princess Duana here to ascertain the mystical strength of the city. We would be happy to extend all of that to you and...."

Lord Lawrence interrupts; "NO! THIS IS MY CITY!!!"

The Poppy Court sire rises; "Not....any....more...."
The waves of power emanating from her cause all around to take a step back.
A Discipline or Rapport Roll please to defend.

The pale lady is forced against the wall, her partner falls to the floor his spindly legs not being able to hold him.

Andrew lets out a howl and Bunny a deep growl.

The ghoul security, keeping well away from the pale human couple move into a wary combat stance.

Whilst Lord Lawrence absolutely livid with rage moves his hand towards the pocket of his frock coat.

Kenneth tenses as the sire rises, and wraps a burning wall of the Flame of Kildare around his mind before the onslaught, Nae this time, Opium-Overlord.

As the mental wave washes over him, he quickly turns to check on Danny, trying to stiffly play his role in a way that covers his genuine concern, when a thought occurs to him. He smiles mischeviously as he asks in a concerned voice, but pitched loud enough to echo across the whole roon, "Be you alright lad? That was more than a wee bit unexpected. I dinnae mean tae speak out ay turn, but I cannae help but notice that wasnae the most hospitable ay reactions I've ever seen at one ay these discussions..."

Discipline: 4d3 - 8 + 4 ⇒ (1, 1, 3, 3) - 8 + 4 = 4

Did we ever put a number on what Ken's 'Mental Armor' potions did? +1? +2? etc? :)

"Holy,..." Danny inadvertently blurts out before the palpable wave of power hits him. Again. For like the second time in ten minutes.

Fortunately his mental reactions are ALMOST as quick as his mouth. As he watches Henri and the girl who COULD be Lord Lawrence's dead wife reel from the mere unleashed presence of the Opium King, he is already reciting a limerick from 'Spamalot' (AKA-Monty Python and the Holy Grail The Musical) Because he was caught by surprise, he can actually be heard muttering the lyrics aloud,...

"I don't know but it's been said,
We're off to war we're not yet dead.
Become a knight and you'll go far,
In suspenders and a bra!"

Performance: 4d3 - 8 + 5 ⇒ (3, 1, 2, 1) - 8 + 5 = 4

To Danny, the mental image of Knights (lovingly cocooned in wonderful, thick, protective armor) overlaid by the obvious cheap visual gag, always gives him a laugh. Providing a buffer for the mental attack.

So, Discipline was 4, Performance was 4, declaring Aspect 'Sorry, I was too busy Laughing' (Small Area? <those next to me, so Ken, Bunny, etc> still leaves a +2 bonus from that roll? As added Mental Armor, not block as before) Do Danny's total Discipline is +6, plus whatever Ken's potion is providing. :)

Male Warrior-Bard of Old; Herald of Brigid Stress: P: OOOO M:OOOO S:OOO; Fate Points: 3;

Ken's Lore is 5, so he can crank out 5-shifters -- but since he'd be more like to go social armour than block (since a broken block ruins it), and armour's half-strength, we'd be looking at soaking 2 points from any leftover damage, with the last shift to increase duration to make sure it lasted the whole scene. At least, I think that's right -- with the pause, I'm a little less sure of my grasp on all that.

Changling Spellsinger Physical: [] [] [] Mental: [] [] [] [] Social: [] [] [] [] FP:10

I'm new enough to FATE that I wont swear to it, but that sounds correct. ;)

So, if above IS all correct, Danny's total is +8 for the defense against the Opium Vamp.

Danny leans back a little, then forward a little, and a chuckle actually escapes his lips.

"Woo! What a rush!" He chuckles with a slight manic look in his eye.

The short singer blinks as Ken's words sink into his potion & Vamp-magiked brain. Seeing Lord Lawrence reach into his coat, something clicks in Danny's brain. Then another couple of somethings. Right or wrong, Danny thinks he's finally put the pieces of the puzzle together.

Well, most of them, anyway. And even if he's only half right, that still puts him and his friends in the middle of a boatload of explosives.

Danny steps forward and points at Lord Lawrence, and in his best projective TV-News-Anchor voice bellows, "DON'T TOUCH THAT DIAL! It's a setup! But the FAE aren't the ones being played for a sucker! Details after this!"

Performance: 4d3 - 8 + 5 ⇒ (2, 1, 3, 1) - 8 + 5 = 4

Well, hopefully that's good enough to prevent Lawrence from blowing us all to heck! Yet,... ;P

So you guys are fine from the psychic attack.

Lawrence hesitates just for a moment as Danny calls out a warning, there's a subtle flash of something that once might have been guilt before pomposity, self-importance and ego drained any form of guilt or emotional resonance away. The Poppy-Court lady can see it, and snarls a light curse.

With unnatural quickness she leaps, claws outstretched, at Lawrence only for her course to be bumped off by Agoggo leaping to intercept. The trio fall to the floor, whereby there starts to be a tussle.

The mystical pressure in the room starts to increase and become oppressive as the vampires vie for dominance....

However it's clear that this is also the signal that the ghouls have been waiting for to start their own pre-emptory 'security'.

Danny turns to face Ken and Laverna,

"Lawrence doesn't realize the others switched the trap on him! He's gonna blow the room! Andwe'reinthemiddle!Getoutnow!"

The ghouls have a wicked look on their face as one leaps into the doorway, the others advance towards the table - their faces changing into an inhuman visage. The pale lady moves towards the doorway, Henri trailing behind her.

Molly is sat at the table, stunned by the burst of activity, the betray and the revelation of the trap. It's as if the connection with her patron has taken something from her.... or maybe it's whatever venom has infected her.

Whilst the werewolf pair of Andrew and Bunny are acting sluggishly for them, under the influence of whatever mojo had been used. Their nimble strong fingers are tearing at their clothes, but finding the restrictive leather a significant hindrance as had been planned.

Oh, it's on, Sal thinks, relieved that something she understands is happening. Do I kick this vent out? Do I stay in or pop out? If they blow the charges, it's gonna roll right through this vent and cook me. But I don't think they will yet. Too many people in the room. Gotta take advantage of the element of surprise while we've got it.

She peers around the room as the situation develops. Vamps... maybe the Magic Men can take them on. OW! She winces as the ghoul wallops Andrew. I remember those things. Tough, but they die. If they block the exit so nobody can get out, though... badness.

Kenneth nods, "Aye, bloody wonderful..... This isnae the time tae fall apart, Molly.." Realizing that many of his companions seem to be stunned by the course of actions, he closes his eyes and pulls hard on the Flame of Kildare, feeling his head swim with epic, lyrical poetry and music, before focusing his will, placing a hand on the woven cross and whispering, "Ealaidh Ceòlraidh", a small part of him reacting to the shock of including his sister in a spell meant to help his allies.

Annnd it's on! ;P Sorry, we open the show this week, and kid's school starts next week. Just a little crazy in RL too! :)

"Oh it is ON! Oooh! That's gonna leave a mark!" Danny's mouth runs free as the vamps tussle and the ghoul backhands Andrew.

"Ghouls will be ghouls,..." Danny grins at Kenneth, but his grin is slightly maniac, and his eyes dart back and forth looking an escape.

As the warmth of Ken's magical flames of inspiration wash over him, Danny's brain begins catching up to his mouth.

"This is the most solid room in the tent! It was MADE to keep us in, or at least make it difficult to get out. But it's Still just a tent!" Danny tells Ken, almost yelling in his excitement. Not that anyone else noticed, what with all of the Vampire mud-wrestling and the Ghoul-Werewolf main event starting,...

"First things first, the ghouls need to chill!"

And Danny starts singing, loudly,...

"Blinded by the Liiight!
Just watchin' two vamps throw down in the middle of the night!
Blinded by the light!
Bunny gives a wiggle and their blinded by the sight!
Blinded by the Liiight!"

Guided by Danny's magical voice, the impromptu tune calls into being a flock of tiny glowing fairies,... wielding cameras with oversized flashbulbs. The tiny-paparazzi begin orbiting the heads of the ghouls, popping off bursts of light into the bestial faces and sensitive eyes.

Danny Performance: 4d3 - 8 + 5 ⇒ (1, 1, 3, 1) - 8 + 5 = 3

Danny needs all the help he can get. As usual. ;P

Danny sings loud and proud. And his performance would earn him applause at any nightclub or rave stage worthy of the name. But the ghouls are a tough crowd. Then there is a flicker of light as the warmth of Kenneth's magical inspiration burns brightly over the singer. You almost see the light bulb go off.

Danny shifts tone and pitch, turning the pop-rock-ballad into a strip-tease, and suddenly Bunny's struggles to get out of her restricting leather outfit takes on an entirely new perspective. The ghouls may be monsters, but they appreciate a nice view as much as Danny, (if for entirely different reasons) and for a moment they stare unblinking,... giving Danny's phantasmal brigade of tinkerbell-paparazzi free shots at the eyeballs. Which they take with a gleeful barrage of powerful flashes.

Danny has used his tap for Divinely Inspired. :)

Sal:
Tucking the rifle and positioning herself in the vent to get a shot at the door, it's not the most ideal... but still she's sure it'll hit.

Ghoul Dodge (-2 due to surprise): 4d3 - 8 + 4 ⇒ (2, 3, 2, 1) - 8 + 4 = 4
It's a Weapon:3 the rifle so 8 + 3 - 4 = 1 Physical Stress & Severe Wound (Chest in Time)

The ghoul in the doorway has a crimson explosion upon it's chest, as it slumps against the architrave. Barely standing it sniffs around for the source of the blast.... perhaps from some hidden avenging angel.

Doorway Ghoul, takes a Severe Consequence from a bullet wound.

Bunny shimmies, in time with Danny's singing as both his fey magic and the vampires mojo affects her. There's a lurid sensuality to her struggles, as she tears the leatherwear off her including the collar. Flashes burst around as the fey-paparazzi create rainbow explosions of colour.

She leans over the table, naked, as her form changes quickly. One moment a beautiful lady, the next a golden canine that's looking around ready to run. Bunny Taps her Divine Inspiration to change.

Whilst Andrew reels from the attack, he uses the momentum to swing a fist at the ghoul - not a boxers blow, being unused to combat in this form, but still a hard blow and unhinges the creatures jaw.

Andrew Attack: 4d3 - 8 + 4 ⇒ (3, 1, 1, 3) - 8 + 4 = 4
Ghoul Dodge: 4d3 - 8 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (2, 1, 2, 3) - 8 + 4 - 2 = 2

So that's 4-2+4, which is 6 damage. Medium Consequence (Broken Jaw)

All the ghouls are Blinded, which you can tag one per creature. Also their actions this round have been reduced.

Henri Millier, the shell-shocked 'thrall', is taken by the pale woman and they walk past the bloody-shot ghoul - that despite being blinded recoils from her very presence. As she walks past, the woman flicks a charm from her bracelet and exits.
[spoiler=Alertness/Investigation DC/TN3]It's a small bone watch, with a rhythmically tapping mechanism[/dice]

From this position ectoplasm starts to slowly cling to the walls blocking everyone inside.

The vampires still tussle on the floor, the sounds of blows heavy and there's the ripple of magic as they enhance their power considerably. Pulsing the magic begins to intensify, it's uncertain whom has the greater power Lawrence & his Lieutenant or the diseased head of the Poppy Court.

Laverna, the sidhe noble, not one to be out-done (or perhaps offering Kenneth an easy explanation) .... crystals start forming on her skin, soon there's a glowing sheen of hoary frost and ice over her. The ice thickens but seems almost part of her very essence.

Danny turns to Laverna, sketches a brief bow, and calmly says,

"...,Might I suggest stepping out for a breath of fresh air whilst the penitents work out the fine print?" He gestures towards the doorway.

"THIS WAY MY LADY" Danny mouths, smiling at Laverna. Yet his voice comes not from his lips, but from across the table, quite loudly, to the side of the blinded ghoul standing in the doorway.

Performance (Ventriloquism, to distract Ghoul in Doorway): 4d3 - 8 + 5 ⇒ (2, 1, 1, 2) - 8 + 5 = 3

Tagging Door Ghouls BLINDED for a +2, total of +5. IF this works, I'm tagging the ghoul as DISTRACTED. (Which, If I'm not mistaken, means that someone who hasn't tagged That particular Ghoul yet could possibly tag his, Blinded, Wounded and Distracted all together, yes?) :)

Still smiling at Laverna, Danny waggles his eyebrows.

Laverna chuckles a throaty chuckle that sends chills down the spine of anyone with a pulse & causes Andrew to groan as he rubs his jaw. She pushes down on the sheet of ice shattering it and causing Molly to step backwards and virtually cower near a wall.

The Sidhe lady then moves past Danny and past the ghoul, even stepping through the ectoplasmic barrier like it wasn't there.
Athletics (past ghoul): 4d3 - 8 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (2, 2, 1, 1) - 8 + 5 + 2 = 5
Conviction (past Ectoplasm Barrier): 4d3 - 8 + 4 ⇒ (1, 1, 2, 2) - 8 + 4 = 2

The Vampires are still struggling upon the floor with speed and fury that leaves just a blur of shapes and red, around them there's a distinct iron smell and that of meat past it's sell-by-date. Suddenly Mr Aggoggo gets thrown against a wall, where it dents even against the solid heavy duty blockwork. He slumps to the floor still.

The ghoul in the door despite being distracted and blind is attempting to defend it - infuriated by the indistinct shape of Laverna slipping past so easily, it gets ready to defend the place at all costs as it starts a death-chant.

The second ghoul echoes this and with it's bruised jaw from the pommel of Kenneth's sword retaliates at him.

Attack (Kenneth): 4d3 - 8 + 4 ⇒ (1, 1, 1, 2) - 8 + 4 = 1

The ghoul slips on some of the shards of ice from the exploding table.

Kenneth: If you get a 4 to defend have a +2, a 5 gives a +3, a 6 gives a +4..... to your next attack. Since that was pretty rubbish.

Kenneth sighs as he sees the ghoul rubbing his jaw, Aye, well, basket hilts are fine for punching, but 'tisnae the best use ay a magic sword. He says, "Thanks for the mail, but mayhap a touch ay help with chopping up this beastie would help me save the lot ay ye, ye ken?.", then whispers, "Losgadh", causing the blade to be WREATHED IN RIGHTEOUS FLAME.

"Aye, now, that'll dae handsomely," he says approvingly.

I dinnae ken if Molly'll buy it, but mayhap she will. After all, I'm just a wee useless runt tae her...

He easily parries the ghoul's attack, this time using the blade's edge to turn away the attack, having the sword bite into the ghoulish flesh.

Counterattack/Defense: 3 + 4d3 - 8 ⇒ 3 + (2, 3, 2, 1) - 8 = 3 I win the counterattack by 2, I'll tag the blade's flame to make it 4 to take advantage of the bonus -- so that's +4 with a weapon 3 on him.

He then presses his attack, lunging forward with the holy blade.

Weapon: 3 + 4d3 - 8 + 2 ⇒ 3 + (3, 2, 3, 3) - 8 + 2 = 8 Well, that's encouraging, given the whole Weapon 3, plus 2 shifts from fire and bypassing the catch..

Originally, I was thinking I'd keep slowly wearing him down with counterattacks and trying to use magic to help out -- but I rather feel the urge to press the advantage... and possibly get us out of here before here blows up.

Kenneth lunges forward with his claymore, spearing the ghoul through the chest in a motion similar to Teutonic Knights. Burning, the creature pole-axes to the floor slipping from the weapon.

The last ghoul carries on it's low-elergy chant as it prepares to protect the door from the intruders exiting.

'Hmph. So much for my Big Bad Bodyguard image. At least my 'client' is out of harms way!(?)' Danny mutters to himself, shaking his head at how easily the Sidhe has exited the building. Front Door.

"Now it's OUR turn!" He says aloud with a grin. Reaching out to touch Ken warily on the shoulder, and gazing at Bunny (Because who wouldn't?!?) Danny sings an impromptu bluesy-beat to hastily made up lyrics.

Because all of the mirror songs I googled were rubbish. ;P

"Mirror Mirror on the wall,
Who is that all standing tall?

Face two mirrors thisaway,
See a hundred run each way!"

Performance: 4d3 - 8 + 5 ⇒ (2, 1, 3, 1) - 8 + 5 = 4

Tagging ghouls DISTRACTED for a +2, total of 6

And with an audible thrumm of power, the room is suddenly VERY crowded, and dozens, or is that hundreds? of Dannys, Kenneths, Andrews and Bunnys suddenly occupy the room. All looking just as confused as the originals, wherever they are,...

"Everybody out of the pool!" Danny's voice, echoing a hundred times, fills the room.

"Catch me if you can you smelly refugee from a B horror film reject!"

Is magic like this specific to the target, or do we all have to save against it?

It'll affect anyone in the room, or nearby (including Sal if she wants)

Bunny the golden doggy, becomes multiplicative and starts panting like like a Scooby-do as she looks about ready to exit the room.

I intended for it to 'cover' the room, or most of it, but did not want to include the Baddies in it's mirror-image effect. (One of each bad guy is enough!) :)

Yep, that works :P

Kenneth looks around then chuckles, "The copies're nae as pretty as I, Danny."

Changling Spellsinger Physical: [] [] [] Mental: [] [] [] [] Social: [] [] [] [] FP:10

Danny and his umpteen copies shrug as one.

"Nobodies perfect. And I couldn't risk overloading the building with THAT much sheer awesome!" He preens, his voice echoing dozens of times as his copies follow suit.

Danny has a moment of hope that the combination of multiple dazzling Danny-grins might overwhelm the ghoul alone. But alas, he is disappointed.

The ghoul in the doorway looks around like a feral animal at the copies all around, but holds it's position ready to swipe wildly at anyone trying to leave.

As if by invitation, the golden canine form of Bunny bounds past him. Twisting in mid-air, as to defy gravity and most natural laws, she dives at shoulder height past the undead abomination.

Athletics to pass Block: 4d3 - 8 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (1, 1, 3, 1) - 8 + 3 + 2 = 3 To 'escape the room' you'd need to roll an appropriate check (whichever skill you can justify). There are still a couple of tags still available.

Molly shakily rises to her feet, her eyes focussed on the tussle on the floor. Lawrence is thrown to against the wall in a flurry of motion, the half-naked vampiress follows him. One of her arms hangs limply at her side, whilst the other pins him to the wall about the throat. Their forms have lost most of their humanity, reverting to something else something more alien and deadly. There's a palpable aura that surrounds them as they fight, a heavy leaden feeling of despair and hunger capable of twisting the hardiest stomach.

Potentially the Poppy Court sire may have the upper hand, but it's not certain as Lawrence draws upon all his reserves of energy - for immortality doesn't mean invulnerability and he knows it.

Oop, forgot to title my illusion. How about TOO MANY TO HOLD? :)

"Way to go Scooby!" Dozens of Danny cheer, raising their arms in unison. A few Danny's in front wave a single-digit salute, and give the ghoul a Bronx Cheer.

Seeing that the fight is not going well. (And not wanting to be there even if it was!)Danny and all of his duplicates crouch low, facing the ghoul like a football player.

"Are you ready for some FOOTBAAAAAAAALL?!? Danny's got the ball, Lookit that sumab%+!* go! He's going left, he's going right, He's rounding third! TOUCHDOWN!"

Danny and all of his duplicates charge forward as dozens of voices echo Danny's battle cry. Some indeed go left, some go right, while others dive over the ghoul and between his legs. A few foolhardy images fly straight into the ghouls arms, to be shredded in a riot of wispy colors.

Performance, (Since I can control the illusion to distract the ghoul from figuring out which one is me) 4d3 - 8 + 5 ⇒ (1, 3, 3, 2) - 8 + 5 = 6

Wow, with that roll, I probably don't need to Tap any of his current Aspects do I? (I will if I need to though!) :)

Kenneth chuckles, "I cannae be certain, but I'm thinking you may be confusing your sports, lad," then holds back, watching his friend rush the ghoul in the doorway, ensuring he doesn't get in the way.

He starts to ready his own rush, then sighs, Ach... I cannae leave her here, even if I have tae magic her out meself.. One would think that the fires ay inspiration would be a mite more helpful. There must be something else at play...

He calls out, "Oi, Molly! Olly olly oxen free! 'Tis time tae get whilst the getting be good." With that, he rushes toward his sister and starts pulling her, "Let's make for the door a'fore whatever fae magic this be expires and traps us here.... tae experience whatever bit ay unpleasant this might be."

I dinnae want tae explain tae the poor chap at Tripp's manor that ye went splat...

Assuming she does start heading to the door, Kenneth will call upon his rote spell, Dìdean, to put a shield around her to help her through it...

Danny ducks and dives through the doorway, the multitude of illusions distracting the pallid creature - that and the aural assault causes the ghouls own chant to falter.

As Kenneths' hand slips down her arms and wrist to her hand; Molly's arms seem more muscular and powerful than one might expect from merely a lawyer. Her grip is strong, but loose as she looks into the distance as if watching invisible figures dancing. Thus she's easily dragged forward by the Celtic bard.
