Munk's fists pass right through the minotaur with no effect whatsoever. T'Orca's +1 greatsword, however, appears to tug at the creature's translucent form and do some limited damage.

The minotaur wastes no time in returning the attack, aiming for the paladin...

Apologies for the delay folks; very full weekend. Things are starting to get a little confused, so, to clarify:

Druthane: the minotaur is no longer in range for your turn. You may want to do something else this round.

Munk: you still have an AoO from Round VIII.

Everyone: please mark the current Round on your post. Additionally, unless someone else has already successfully disbelieved the same section of wall (all are currently marked in red on the map), please remember that there is a 25% chance the wall is, in fact, real. Roll a d4 in addition to your will save, a 1 means it's a real wall.

1d4 ⇒ 3
T'Orca succeeds with another cut on her AoO, Ober moves forward, and Trifle gazes hard at the wall ahead but can't shake the illusion (and therefore can't send the flaming sphere somewhere she can't see).

Druthane goes absolutely nuts on the creature in return, positively mauling it. Wounds appear heavily about it as chunks of wispy blue begin to peel off.

T'Orca then runs up and gives her best bellow. Karsos looks pretty demoralized.

Nevertheless, he roars in anger and smashes down on Druthane again.

25 total damage to Druthane.

Secondly, Karsos gazes sternly at the magus and utters a hoarse whisper: "DRUTHANE." Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11 FAIL Druthane hears the lure of the labyrinth, and ambles aimlessly about the maze 1d3 ⇒ 1 in a southwesterly direction (consuming a move action for your next turn). It then steps back through the wall behind.

Ober takes an agile step and cuts down hard. The blade passes clean through the foe, but this time it elicits a massive roar of anger and pain. The incorporeal form withers away into nothingness. Out of initiative.

Simultaneously, the maze around seems to crumble into dust. As the illusion rapidly fades, you find yourself in the cavern you remember. Rubble and half-standing walls surround you but the exit is clearly visible just fifty feet ahead.

You still hear faint rumblings from below your feet, so the party hurries for the surface. After passing through the secret library and climbing the stairs to the Lodge's ground floor, Valais stops just before the door to the outside world.

"Wait! What about me? I... I can't be seen out there. They'll kill me!" She glances back down the stairs. "And I can't really stay here..."

Ober draws Gamin the Misforged.

"Take a look at the blade of this weapon Valais," He says holding the blade up to her so the crack is noticeable.

"This sword was cast off by it's maker. A failed experiment, a flawed creation. But a Pathfinder by the name of Kalkamedes took up this blade, and with it forged a new destiny for himself and for the sword. One of glory and honor. The blade was given a purpose and it served the society through that purpose, broken as it is. And when Kalkamedes grew old and set aside his life of adventuring, he passed this blade on to me, instilling with me the knowledge that this flawed blade still has a use and can still serve the Society. And so it has today, Gamin protected me here, inspired me, advised me in the paths I should take."

Gamin casts Guidance on Ober, the War Priest gently kissed the blade as one would kiss an parent, before sheathing the blade.

"Valais, you are like this blade. Broken, but not useless. Flawed, but not without purpose. The Society seeks secrets to unlock their hidden potential and you Valais are a great secret. I will stand with you before the Society and speak of your courage, your wisdom and your steadfast commitment to our cause. But I can only stand beside you, if you stand for yourself."

Once at the Lodge, you find that Venture Captain Jorsal has returned from Kenabres during your exploration. He recognizes Valais Durant immediately and, after a few brief whispered words with you about her conduct, sanity, and stability, escorts her to the healers. She departs your company with an expression of immense gratitude on her patchwork face.

Jorsal returns to where you have gathered shortly thereafter. "Thank you, Pathfinders, for returning Pathfinder Durant to us. We had feared her lost permanently, but now I have made it my personal mission to see her restoration. Or, should that prove impossible, at least her treatment and acceptance."

He clears his throat before continuing. "Now, what have you to report? What plans does Thurl have in motion? How came Valais to look thus? What found you below the traitor's lodge?"
