Woohoo! It's part of the initiation ritual! You're not truly part of the team until you're 1 point away from death! Nothing says 'You're one of us now' like a shockingly fun tango with a lizard behind a waterfall.

Seeing the lizards begin to go down, and badly injure her friends, Krsyta quickly moved up behind, and to one side, of Elisai before snapping her neck forward so her jaws could reach the lizard. She was angry at this thing that would hurt a part of her horde and wanted it dead!

Krysta puts down the final lizard with her ferocious bite, ripping the hind quarters clear off the back of the beast. The blood back end flops to the ground before her about the same time as the front portion falls to the ground before Elisai. The battle is over.

Quick! Save the wench! Err, witch!

"It takes more than a spark to land a Screaming Hawk" he says while trying to help her stand up. The half-elf looks for something on its backpack "Grace left something" and hands a wand of cure light wounds with 12 charges and a wand of cure light wounds with 40 to Elisai "Will that be of any help?".

As these are mainly party items, I wonder if it is ok to assume they would remain with the group after the characters drop. Is that ok ShadowLord?

While Yavenee is healing the party, Delendir and Krysta investigate the various crates stacked in the corner of the room. Apart from a fair supply of mundane weapons (including two dozen longswords, shortswords, daggers and longbows), one of the crates contains an oilcloth wrapped around six +2 shocking burst arrows.

Pressing onward the path splits in two. Two the north a deep ravine stretches across this cavern, splitting the room in half. Geodes and veins of glittering minerals shimmer along the walls of the chasm, which drops away into the dark. A ten-foot-wide wooden bridge spans the gulf.

To the east a short corridor windows down, sloping into a deeper underground passageway.

Delendir's confidence is tested as he begins to make his way across the bridge. Groaning under his weight the bridge protests loudly with creaking and popping, but it does not give way. Once he makes it to the other side without harm it further reinforces that the bridge is perfectly safe!

I'm amazed by the lack of rope in your party! I had given up hope when I saw Ragnhildr had 50' of silk rope.

Preparing to climb down since he was not carrying rope, Ragnhildr offers up hers to help lower the ranger into the ravine. Reaching the bottom he discovers the skeleton of an unlucky halfling thief lies at the bottom of the ravine. His pack contains a broken flask, some prospecting tools, and a pouch with two large garnets. The best find however is a trusty +1 mithral short sword that is still sheathed at his side.

Krysta simply flew across the chasm rather than use the bridge. It made little sense to do otherwise and landed just as Delendir spoke up about something below and not having Ghina to fly down and get it. She rolled her eyes and grumbled as she said, "I take it you want me to go get it Delendir?" With that she lifted off and swooped down to where the apparent body was and called up, "i guess he was right wasn't he?" She was careful about approaching, just in case it seemed like the body wasn't entirely dead. Once satisfied that it wasn't likely to leap up and attack her she came down close enough to retrieve whatever Delendir saw, or the body as a whole.

Krysta:
The body appears or more less like the halfling mismanaged the bridge and fell down the ravine. Several of the bones are fractured and damaged from some type of impact.

Once everyone crosses the bridge and has scavenged whatever gear they would like from the body, they continue on to the north. The tunnel splits ahead again. On the right side of the tunnel is likely the "Secret entrance" out of the cavern. Several markings and lines indicate that pushing on a certain section of stone will cause it to slide forward.

While the party is examining the secret exit a noise off to the west catches their attention. Peering into the room ahead they catch sight of the walls of a fairly dry cavern that contain twenty seven-foot-wide, two-foot-high niches, in each of which rests the ancient body of a long-dead humanoid. The skeletons bear ceremonial armor and weapons. Two of the bodies have been pulled from their niche and lie in a jumble on the ground.

On the map the exit from the secret tunnel is to the south. The room you are hearing noises from is the one to the north.

TG1 | FF

Delendir:
Something isn't quite right here, those bodies on the floor do not look completely dead.

The two forms on the floor shift and begin to move in response to the presence of the party. A voice seems to drift from one of them, though it's difficult to determine which.

Necril:
"Finally come to check on me, eh? Those challenged enough to disturb the slumber of Lorgus and Icarod Fenker shall pay the toll of death! Revenge is to be exacted for the 'accident' on patrol! Death to the Arrows!"

The form on the right orange is a translucent, ghostly figure that rises from the body and fades into view from the damp mist, its face distorted by wrath into a hideous mask.

K:Religion DC17 to ID:
This translucent creature is a Spectre. Spectres are evil undead that hate sunlight and living things. Most are the remnants of murdered or evil humans, their anger preventing them from entering the afterlife. Like ghosts, spectres haunt the places of their deaths, and seek to draw others into the lonely abyss of undeath.

A spectre looks much as it did in life and can be easily recognized by those who knew the individual or have seen the individual's face in paintings or drawings. Spectres retain a strong sense of identity, and even ancient, insane spectres generally remain coherent. Evil historians and necromancers often try to ally with spectres for the knowledge they held in life and retain in undeath.

The body on the left redpushes to its feet, releasing a terrible and horrible odor that is difficult to forget. Many of you faced terrible creatures called ghasts in Foxglove manor, and the distinct odor of this creature quickly reminds of you of what you saw there.

The translucent creature surges forward like a gust of wind and flies into Sunday, surging through his body with one of its hands and claws and ripping something from Sunday's body with a quick jerky motion. 2 damage + DC16 Fort save or suffer 2 levels of energy drain.

With the sudden movement of the bodies, and a need to get to the room to help quickly, Krysta went straight forward and burrowed right through the wall before her. She got to where she could see in and spotted where the other corpse thing was, drew in a deep breath with her head sticking out of the wall, and sent a vibrating roar out, the sound slamming into the undead thing.

"A spectre..... and undead hate fulled spirit, sunlight harms their kind!" Yavenee calls out to her companions. Uttering a mystic chant, the witch sends a pulse of altered time washing over her companions, accelerating their actions.

Cast Haste. And Yup, definitely undead.

Clarificaiton Krysta - Which undead thingy are you targeting, red?

The undead thing resists some of the sonic damage from the crystal dragon, but still was visibly damaged in the assault. Apparently not interested in attacking a dragon embedded in rock, the undead creatures moves south and attempts to bite and slash at Sunday. Only one claw of the three attacks hits Sunday 6 damage + DC15 Reflex or Paralysis for 5 rounds.

Sunday - Fort! Not sure why I said Reflex. Ignore the GM please ;)

Krysta - No worries, just wanted to double check before assuming.

Both of Delendir's strike seem to damage the ghostly figure as it reacts negatively to the attack, but it still stands. Or flies. Or whatever dead, translucent figures do.

As Delendir closes in on the figure he attacks, he takes note that a terrible stench has arisen nearby from the direction of the other undead figure who just closed in and attack Daud. Forgot that the red guy smells terrible! Everyone within 10' of him needs to make a DC 15 Fortitude save, or be sickened for 7 minutes.
