What if when the Drow splintered off from the rest of the elves, magic could not be gathered in the underdark? What if they had to rely on alchemy and technology.

The tide... oh! The tide.

It is the lament of your city! Each of you might have had your place in society before but now you have been placed into a scouting group. You are told to report in to Pharnox an Iron Bombardier at the Bubbling Inn. Supposedly the Bubbling Inn will be your waypoint for at least the coming week.

The Bubbling Inn is known for its alchemist owner and making every drink bubbly. Though the hot springs that surround it is another reason it was named such. Thankfully the tide is not suppose to make it to this lovely inn but there is no promises that can be held onto due to the tide. The structure appears to be made mostly of mushroom stalk boards with metal corners to make sure the boards have a solid post to hold them. No fire is needed as the stone floor is heated with the hot springs that run underneath and to the side rooms where private meetings are held. The alchemist has never been named but the bartender, Zevex 'Drake' Silistrem takes care of the place very well. The two bugbear bouncers keep the place safe and secure though normally they are not needed. Six rooms up on the cliff wall can be rented for a paltry fee of 1 sp a night. They are decently furnished and heated using the hot springs as well.
