N´Kai turns his magical senses inwards and finds what he is looking for among the magical formulae stored in his mind. Armed with the spell that he needs, he calmly walks towards the gate, ignoring the surrounding chaos. Positioning himself just beyond the reach of the last of the invaders inside the courtyard, he again uses his illusion powers to knock out some of his opponents...

Larissa steps back from the door to AE12 and casts Darkness on the chest of her armor. Her darkvision makes it moot for her, but it should create some difficulty for human interlopers.

Leik hits him and wound him really bad.
Their turn:
Firstly, the four starting in AE 14, AE 15, AF 15, and AG 17 rush past Rholf and Larissa to the stairway down on the west wall. Both of them get AOO's on one each of those four. I placed them in ac 10-13; when we determine aoo's whoever is remaining will be down the stairs and into the jail area instead of just standing there on the stairway like that.
The guy in AC 19 tries to overrun Leik, whose CMD I believe to be 18 and doesn't win. Leik can aoo him if he likes.
Several attempt to overrun as the main body moves up; most fail. Three get by Leik into the courtyard.
Ends up three of the guys are able to overrun Leik and break through to the courtyard; Leik could aoo one of these guys, and Nev can as well.
Leik is also targeted by four bricks, and Nev is targeted by three bricks. Nev is hit twice, for 8 hp damage. One was a crit.
Then, the five guys around AM-AP 21-25 charge Aethor and Edwin. Aethor can hold attack one of them.
Also, four guys just north of the crashed wagon roll in and attack those two as well.
Aethor gets hit once by the four guys on him for 5 hp damage. He also gets hit with a brick from the crowd for 2 hp.
Edwin gets hit twice by the five guys on him for 10 hp damage. He gets hit by one brick for 3 hp.
Then,....it's group's attack.

On his turn, he turns the torch in AC 20 into a chocking cloud of smoke.
Smoke Cloud: A stream of smoke billows out from the fire, forming a choking cloud that spreads 20 feet in all directions and lasts for 1 round per class level. All sight, even darkvision, is ineffective in or through the cloud. All within the cloud take –4 penalties to Strength and Dexterity (Fortitude negates, DC 10 + ½ class level + Charisma modifier). These effects last for 1d4+1 rounds after the cloud dissipates or after the creature leaves the area of the cloud. Power resistance does not apply. rounds: 1d4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 1 = 3 (DC 12)

You guys are lucky my son isn't the dungeonmaster. He says I should have one of them big ass mammoths from LOTR come into the plaza.
Kindly inform your spawn, er, son, that I am very grateful he is not the DM. Maybe in a few more levels, if we make it that far. ;P

Edwin, trying to get to his feet, is pummeled by brawling men and clipped by a flying brick. He holds his temple, blood flowing from beneath his fingers.
"How did I blunder so badly?" He hisses in pain. He seems unable to accept the fact. (Not that it was mishandled, but that it could have been HIS fault.)
He spits a word in another language, possibly a curse, and he Vanishes from sight.
"Get to the Jail! Quickly!" He hisses to Aethor. The detective then reassesses the situation, and ducks between the two nearest townspeople, trying to get to a clear space.

His attack is to cut another idiot and move back as best he can through the smoke towards the jail GM can roll to position me/survival direction etc
