The Hourglass Mage |

Dragonlance Campaign Setting utilizing Pathfinder rule set
-Played live on Roll20
-1 to 2 times per month (4-6 hours) CST days/times will vary depending on participants
-Campaign with be set during the 3rd Dragon War (Age of Dreams)
25 point buy (no stat >16 or <10 before racials)
Races: Human, Elf, Kender, Half Elf, Dwarf, Gnome, and Minotaur
(I will post conversions in full recruitment thread. Other races may be considered if they match the campaign setting)
Classes will be limited by roles:
Knight of Solamnia:
Paladin, Fighter, War Priest, Inquisitor
Mage of High Sorcery:
Wizard, Witch
Skills/Traps role:
Rogue, Unchained Rogue, Urban Ranger, Archaeologist Bard (spells would come from song and character would have to be a worshiper of Branchala-this goes for any bard as there are no spontaneous arcane casters)
Brute:
Fighter, Brawler, Barbarian, Unchained Barbarian
Divine Caster:
Cleric, Oracle, Shaman
Wildcard:
Few restrictions
Some of these roles overlap, so there is flexibility in the number of each role taken. If you want a class not listed in a role, ask when recruitment starts.
Third Party material will be on a case by case basis.
****LOOKING FOR PLAYERS WHO ENJOY DEVELOPING CHARACTERS WITH DEPTH, LOVE DRAGONLANCE, AND WHO ENJOY ROLL PLAYING AS WELL AS ROLEPLAYING. BACKGROUND MATTERS MORE THAN MIN/MAX (I am not against well made character crunches. I just hate broke combinations.)
PG13 campaign. Will use voice and possibly video on Roll20.
I will leave this open for a few days and then either recruit here or on Roll20 forums if needed.

I am looking for a good campaign to play in and would be very interested in this. It has been a long time since I read any dragonlance books but I remember enjoying them a lot. Have you had any other interest yet? I would probably prefer a brute because I don't really know that much about the other roles but I would be up for others.

I've got a real life friend that is playing. What is your experience with pathfinder? I have no problem with a player without a lot of experience. Have you ever played on Roll20 or Fantasy Grounds? I am mostly looking for fun people who enjoy role playing.

Pathfinder I know very well, it's just dragonlance I'm unfamiliar with. I have tried to play games with them I just don't remember if I was successful or not.

Not knowing Dragonlance too well won't be an issue. If you like reading, The Legend of Huma gives a good idea of the timeline the campaign will be set in. I'll post a thorough introduction when the game starts. Feel free to create a character and post it here if you are interested. If you decide to give it a try, I can work with you on a background. Minotaurs are playable if that interests you. They have a rich heritage in Dragonlance.

I would love to but I am not too familiar with how one would play using that program,
I would love to have you. It is just like playing tabletop, but played on the web. Here is a good video demonstration: Link
I would keep a thread here for between game communication and a log of previous sessions. We could flesh out characters here.
