Due to the appearance and comments of Ms. Longfarthing, Gilraen puts on hold her plan to talk about the “Aasimar Curse” rather loudly to Sandara during the evening. If, however, she didn’t get around to thanking Sandara, she will do so.

When Sidhon speaks to her she is wary of him. She also glances around quickly to make certain there is no one to overhear them.

She pretends to ignore him, brushing past and murmuring "Absolutely. And perhaps." She's hoping he'll be able to determine that she's answered the questions in order.

After eating, she will return to the galley to check on Fishguts.
Nursemaid to a drunken cook – always been my professional ambition. At least he seems like a somewhat decent guy.

Unexpectedly, Noonan is put off a bit when his new pet feeds off of the dead body.
That thing might try to eat me when I'm asleep.

He'll take the evening to look around to see if he recognizes anything or anyone he might know or be able to learn from.

I spent an hour and a half on a post last night, and then it got eaten.

Ah well, I had some questions for y'all anyway. So I'll ask them, and do a more detailed post later today.

@Zorg-- the room where everyone strings up hammocks for sleeping is area A10 (see your OP maps). The more loyal hands have footlockers, with padlocks, and sleep closer to the steps leading up.

You can go up to Area A6. You've been thru it quickly on your way up and down. Generally you know it is a cargo hold. You may examine it more closely.

Your other option is down to A11--the Bilges, where you were before.

So, which will you explore tonight?

~~~
@Noonan--You made a good perception check. But "people you can learn from" is a little broad. Sea chanties? Scrimshaw? Underwater basket weaving? Give me a clearer idea of what kind of person you want to talk to.
~~~

@Gilraen-- You briefly thanked Sandara earlier, but if you'd like to talk to her more you have that opportunity. I'll also give you a little more talking with Fishguts later today.

I will say that when you or Sandara is in a place, the drunken mens' eyes tend to follow you. And when the two of you sit together for chow... the staring is pretty obnoxious.

~~~
@Atlatl-- You don't notice more about the crew's reactions then anyone else. Too much shock going around.
Weaponry-- well you have a very clear idea of who's got cutlasses, hidden daggers, etc, etc. Officers tend to have more blatant weapons, scrubs tend to have small hidden ones. Noonan (you notice somehow) has brass knuckles hidden in his loin-gourd.
~~~

@Sidhon-- the choker appears to be a seamless ring of iron. A distinct dweomer of magic is on it. Not super-powerful, but beyond your skills to deal with. It seems to be what Peppery Longfarthing described-- a device of non-breathing in water.

~~~
Well that's just a quick update. Send me more details if you got em, and I'll give you more later today.
Deep purple hair w/silver-lavender highlights, bright purple eyes, Aasimar - Gilraen is rather used to having heads turn and being leered at. She openly ignores it while keeping an eye out for anyone who might decide to do more than look.
Sense Motive 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 - and she notices nothing.
Other than generic "trading of stories and backgrounds", these are the things Gilraen'll ask/say during dinner:
You seem to have been here for longer than I and survived. Any words of advice?
I don't know much about Besmara - I'm a follower of Desna myself - tell me about her.
Who is Ms. Longfarthing - or is that a question that is best not to ask?
Fishguts seemed to think he was "safe" - do you have any idea if that's just wishful thinking?
The question about Besmara is honest - Gilraen has heard of her, but not much else. The one about Fishguts will (hopefully), give her a better notion of how to approach him after dinner.
Noonan would like to perceive what this ship's purpose is and what plans might exist for it (and him). What's the history of the ship, its captian, and crew, as well.
@Zorg—After most of the crew has bunked down for the night, you manage to sneak up the steps without difficulty. This is the main cargo hold (A6). There doesn’t seem to be much cargo at this time, except for some livestock—chickens, goats, and pigs—who run loose. Off the main hold, you can see into the galley (A8), where you here some voices. There is also a small cabin with the door shut (A7).
In the forward area of the hold, are another set of steps going up. These are separate from the main steps that go up to the main deck.
There are broken crates and straw strewn about, and if you search them thoroughly you find a bullseye lantern, a valuable looking stone, and a brass knife.
~~~

@Noonan—Your best bet to find out what’s what aboard the ship, is probably to talk to more experienced crew members. At chow, people break off into groups, like a high school cafeteria.

The officers eat elsewhere… you hear that the officers usually dine at the captain’s table.

The next tier are the suck ups. Maheen is one of these. You worked with him today as a rigger. He is intense and hard to read, other than he is ambitious and is sucking up to Scourge and Plugg.

There are some gamblers, there are some drinkers and storytellers. There are the oddballs, like a strange woman called Slippery Syl.

There are the riggers that are newer, but seem friendly to you like Ratline and Rosie.

Maheen’s group probably knows the most, Ratline and Rosie are probably the friendliest to you, or you could choose one of the groups in between.

~~~
@Sidhon—A few hours have passed. Your injuries are healed but for some bruises. I told you about the iron choker. And believe, other than speaking a bit with Gilraen that you were calling it a night? A perfectly valid choice considering the day’s excitement.
~~~

@Atlatl-- The water has continued to recede. It’s only a foot deep at this point. Although the bilge pump sounds like its straining again. The copper, silver, and gold pieces you find all total up to 21 gp. You also find a mace and a masterwork handaxe. You won’t be able to hide those on you. You’ll have to stash them somewhere.

~~~
@Gilraen-- Sandara (and Conchobhar) haven’t been on ship any longer than you have and can’t answer most of your questions. But after glowering back at some of the slobs staring your way,.Sandara’s happy to talk about Besmara.
Aye, Besmara, she’s a fine one! Queen of those who seek a life o’ freedom and adventure on the high seas (you read that as meaning “pirates”)! She’s not for everyone, ‘pecially not landlubbers. And you don’t choose Her, she chooses you. I was called to the Besmara and the seas as a girl. She—she saved my da when there was no way, I mean no way that he came back from that wreck alive. She saved my da, and I’ve been hers ever since. Then Sandara gets a distant look.
When you thank her again for the healing, she just shrugs. Us new kids gotta stick together, right? I’m all about adventure on the seas, but I know Besmara wants better for me than hunting rats belowdecks for a bunch o’ bigger rats above. Whaddabout you, I smell some power on ya?
Conchobhar has been staring wistfully at Rosie, while the two of you have been talking. Sandara nudges the flashy gnome. Why don’tcha go talk to her instead of staring at her like a moon pup?
Oh, but I did, I did. But thees woman, thees goddess, she says “No!” to Conchobhar. Eet ees ‘opeless. She weel not love the Conchobhar.
Don’t be a quitter. Didn’t I see ya singing back at the bar? Why don’tcha sing for the lady. Women are suckers for a man that’ll sing for ‘em. Conchobhar perks up and climbs to the top of the table and begins to sing a funny charming song about a beautiful girl and her foolish lover. His voice is like velvet.
Do you want to talk to Sandara any further? Or go on to Fishguts?
In response to Sandara's comment about power, Gilraen will reply "I am an Oracle of Desna - just starting out on the path. I also believe she has better intended for me."
Zorg's eyes go wide as he enters the cargo hold, drool dribbling down what passes for a chin on goblins. He licks his lips and is about to pounce on a chicken to supplement his meager supper when he hears voices from the adjoining section of the ship. He stops in his tracks and lets out a grunt of disappointment. (Mental note: food in the cargo hold.)
Instead, Zorg rummages around in the hold and muffles his own squeal of excitement with his own hand as he discovers the lantern, stone, and knife. After doing a tiny jig, he stows them away in some straw by the steps, and then approaches the closed door, listening for any sound coming from the chamber beyond.
Sidhon completes his inspection of Atlatl's new necklace, concluding for the moment that there are few direct avenues to remove it - ruling out lockpicking, and deferring as a last resort an attempt to manipulate its magic. Noonan will situate himself near Ratline, as he already feels indebted to him for the advice from earlier in the day (and, therefore, that Ratline must like him at least a little).
Not a chatty one, Noonan will try to sit or stand near him and make eye contact every once in a while. Listening to everything. This is about the extent of Noonan's skills when it comes to small talk/bonding efforts.
@Zorg: You don't hear anything behind the cabin door (A7), but that may be because of the nearness of the voices from the galley (A8).
Also, when you were searching the forward part of the hold, you heard some heavy breathing on the forward-most steps.
I'm going to say that you spend some time searching the main hold. If you want to search more tonight, you'll have a fatigue penalty in the morning.
~~~

@Noonan: Ratline is happy to have you around. Having a big, strong friend is an asset for a little guy who's low on the local totem pole. He chatters aimlessly to you and Rosie, telling tales that you're not sure if are more amusing than true. Rosie occaionally punctuates his stories with insults to the protagonist and his lineage. She has a seemingly endless supply of invectives to offer. One item of possible interest is when he talks about Ms. Peppery Longfarthing. He clearly fears her powerful sorcery. ...A longtime friend o the captain's they say. Friend? We all know what that means. Its good to have powerful friends -he gives you an appreciative look-, and her magic is strong, I'll grant you, but who could get into bed with a cold-teated witch like that un? (Remember the witch-hating thing!)

Pluck happily eats some of your stew, seeming to prefer the rice portion. The stew isn't half bad, although you may have wished for more. (You can ask the woman who's dishing it out, if you'd like more.)
After eating, he squawks, I am a Lucky Pluck! nuzzles into your shoulder,and falls asleep. Feeding him seemed to have cinched the deal. Pluck is about 10 inches tall (more a piratey shoulder parrot, than a perch-on-your-finger kind). His claws would probably make a more thin-skinned man very uncomfortable

Part of the way thru dinner, another one of those very short people that this ship seems to be crawling with, jumps to the top of a table and begins singing a song about a pretty girl and a silly man who loves her. You notice he seems to look at Rosie more than anybody else while he sings. She turns dark red and mutters stupid &^()*(^*%$#*+$ gnome! But everyone else seems to really like the song, and claps and stomps their feet. Rosie even begrudgingly admits that the gnome isn't half bad. Makes me miss me fiddle even more tho' Curse these %$^&&^&* and their !@#$%^&*(&! for taking it from me!

~~~
@Gilraen: When you get down to the Galley, Fishguts has company. He and a half-orc woman seem to be deep into their cups together. Before you can decide if you should stay or not, Fishguts sees you.
Ah yeh, here she ish, the one I's tellin' you 'bout. -hic- Name's, name's uh, whuz yer name again? (---) Yeh, yeh, right. And thish here is Cut-Throat, my good fren'. -hic-. She's the Quartermashter.
He figures he'll never know if he can get more food unless he asks...
Walking up to the serving woman, he offers his bowl.
"I'm big." he explains...fully aware this request just might land him into some sort of trouble.
I'm set for life if this woman gives me more food.
Feed him twice, and he eats even more that day!
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 And…Gilraen has no clue.
Gilraen shrugs. “Only sort of an elf – an Aasimar – it’s kind of a throwback – that’s where the weird coloring comes from.” Well, hopefully if she just doesn’t like elves that will help. While she is proud of her heritage, she isn't willing to alienate a potential ally. If they become friends, then she’ll work on changing her views.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
She pulls up a stool and sits. “I hope that someday when I get a decent haul of fish more quickly, you’ll teach me how to cook – I know some basics, but that’s about it.”
@Noonan: The woman serving the stew originally has her back to you, and when you speak, she turns to snarl, Nobody, I said nobody, gets seconds 'ceptin' the captain hisself. When she does get a good look at you she does a double take. You ARE a big 'un. You'd be tough to kill. Alright then, but don't say nuthin' to nobody or... she makes a slashing motion across her throat. Even big 'uns have to sleep sometime. She ladles you another portion of stew.
You aren't sure exactly what, but there is something really odd about this woman. You remember she's called Slippery Syl.
@Gilraen: Cut-throat seems to settle down a bit once you've joined them and have been nice to Fishguts. They are both free with the rum to themselves and to you. @ Gilraen: Cut-throat Grok finds your bag with a gleeful exclamation, dumps it out, finds the flute, shoves everything back in, and sticks the bag back on a shelf in what looks to be a very crowded store room. There look to be all sorts of supplies: food, liquor, combat gear, lanterns, etc, etc You catch glimpses of what you think may be the other recruits gear, and even an enormous sword. Then Cut-throat slams the door shut, padlocks it once more, and presents you with your flute.
When you play, the gruff-voiced, grumpy woman melts. You might even spot a tear rolling down her craggy cheek. Byooteefull, j&& byooteefull. Another! she demands. And another. She keeps you playing for quite a while, until you fear your fingers will go numb and you'll run out of breath. But you hope the blissful expression on the ugly half-orcs face may have a payoff at some point. Finally, Fishguts says, Well that's a night for me! Gotta be fresh in the morning! Fishguts and Cutthroat laugh at what seems to be an ongoing shared joke. Then Fishguts makes his way to the little cabin next to the galley and stumbles inside. Cutthroat soon follows.
Feel free to add any last tidbits or interactions here. I'm going ahead with the group in the meantime, so they can play too. And yes, apparently you get to keep your flute.
~~~

@Everybody One way or another, you each find your way to the main cabin (A10), where the crew have hammocks strung up between the ship walls and the masts and several posts. Apparently, there's a system of seniority in place, where they oldest hands get spots in front, close to the steps, and the newest recruits (that would be you) are in back. There are still about 10 hammocks left over after you guys claim yours. You can't figure out why spots close to the front would matter...

...until morning. When you wake with a start to the obnoxious clanging of the hideous clock. Everyone scrambles to get "up top" before the onorous chiming stops. You, the new recruits, are last to get to the steps.

You all get one level up to the cargo hold, when Maheen and three others stop you. An' surely yer not wantin' ta pass without payin' the toll? Thas right says another, there's a toll on these steps and we're here to collect. Four others join in the laughter below you on the steps.

The situation is... 4 pirates up top and 4 below you, armed with cats or truncheons. You see other weapons hidden here and there, but the ones they're holding are for painful, but non-lethal damage.

Between the 8 pirates are... Sandara, Rosie, Conchobhar, Gilraen, Atlatl, Zorg, Sidhon, and Noonan. You are on steps, with a railing, and the Cargo hold beneath you.

GM hint time again: I know its frustrating being subjected to stuff and not being able to fight back. Sooo... if you want to, you can fight back. Or you can negotiate, or trick, or whatever ideas you can come up with. Couple of things to remember: The captain said he would keelhaul anyone who killed another crewmember, and... you will be punished if you don't make it up top before the clock stops chiming. And.... go.

Sidhon will then cast a prestidigitation - the weakest stair ahead of the bullies still in the hold (so, behind us being threatened, but ahead of the folks 'closing in' from behind) - that stair will be very weak, and 'hinge' down. The tread won't break, and once people see that it's missing, they'll be able to step over (fairly easily). Atlatl, quickly whips out his dictionary to look up "prestidigitation".

"ah-ha"

Slams the book shut & looks around to get his bearing
Perception Check: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27

Nods his head knowingly (not as much as yesterday as the gill collar restricts this movement)to the back of Sidhons head.

Ready to dash upward and help with affixing the rope.
Aid Another: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Eyes tighten.

I will push the action forward when either a)Everyone has posted or b)48 hours has passed. In this case I'll post a safe-ish action for non-posters.

In the meantime everyone needs to give me an initiative roll.

Noonan quickly processes:

1. These guys won't kill me (or else they'd be killed).
2. I'd much rather upset them than the captain and that other dude.

without having to go further, and without a spoken word, Noonan bull rushes the guys up top...raging.

His sole goal is to get through and he recognizes incapacitating might be required.

Initiative 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20

The four pirates up top are "Shaken" by Gilraen's initimidate. (-2 to attaks and saves for 1 round.)

Initiative of 4 up top: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

Initiative of 4 below: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Initiative Sandara: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Initiative Rosie: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25

Initiative Conchobhar: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

I think we'll go ahead and do combat in initiative order, visible to everyone. At least for now. And I regret to inform you that I have not yet mastered maps and tokens, but I think this is a fairly easy scenario to visualize. (Anyone good with this kind of thing, able to give me a quick tutorial? I need to do a map with peoples pics as tokens that can be moved on the map.)

Initiatives are:
Rosie 25
Gilraen 21
Noonan 20
Pirates 1-4, 18
Atlatl 9
Sandara 9
Sidhon 6
Conchobhar 6
Pirates 5-8, 4
Zorg 3 (he can still post an action, if he posts before his turn)

Scenario is:

Main Deck

Pir1 Pir2 Pir3 Pir4

. .Noo Atl. .

. .Zor San. .

. .Sid Con. .

Pir5 Pir6 Pir7 Pir8

Cargo Hold

Rosie's gonna attack Pir 3 with her handaxe, swearing all the while.Then she'll attempt to tumble past him. Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24, Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1, Acrobatics: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20

Gilraen: Intimidating was a free action. Whaddaya wanna do now?

Noonan: You still want to bull rush? (perfectly viable move. you'd roll d20+7)

Zorg attempts to get to the main deck so he can report for duty. This all kind of sucks. But I'm a real pirate now! Sort of. He grunts in frustration at the hold up and scowls when the group is told to pay the thugs ahead of them.

He doesn't respond to Sidhon's spoken advice. Probably makes sense, but I'm not telling him that. When it's clear that mayhem is going to break out, Zorg tries to clear the path by putting the pirates ahead of them to sleep.

Cast sleep centered up ahead, behind the pirates in front of us so it won't capture any of us. Insert goblin song here.

Gilraen will take a swing at the nearest, then follow Rosie’s lead and try to tumble past. She has improved unarmed strike so she doesn’t provoke an attack of opportunity
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 Doubt that hits, but, just in case 1d3 ⇒ 3
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

If she does get past, she will turn to assist the others rather than heading up to the deck.

Male HP: 15/15 | DR? | AC 14 | T ? | FF ? | CMD 19 | F ? | R ?| W ? | Init +4| Per ? (?) Human Barbarian/1

Noonan quickly figures that their lack of lethal intent and knowledge about their opposition suggest that these guys are morons.

Noonan angrlily growls "Idiots" and then shoots himself forward at
1. the smallest of the available pirates if the two ladies have any of them occupied
2. or, preferably, the pirate that just got hit if one of the ladies just hit and got past him

Fully enraged. His goal being to let go a little anger in a healthy way and severely hurt someone.

Given the angle and that he's rushing upward towards them he will be aiming a fist directly towards the pirate's "jewel bag" along with his rush. To avoid any possible confusion, by "jewel bag" I mean nut sack, goody bag, or junk. Noonan has learned in the past that this is a particularly effective way to incapacitate others and offer a little humiliation at the same time.

BULL RUSHING: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17

Waiting for Pirates attack, yes?

Of course, Daniel has pointed out that today is not Sunday.

I haven’t forgotten you. I had a family reunion this weekend, and couldn’t access the internet for the necessary amounts of time. AND… I’ve been inputting the combat stats of all the NPC’s. Some of them are already detailed, and some are just brief sketches, so before I could have you fight them, I needed to create their info. Now we’re good to go for a while (on my end.)

~~~
Rosie hits for 1 damage on Narwhal(3) and tumbles thru. No Attack of Opportunity against her.
Gilraen misses, but successfully tumbles thru. No Attack of Opportunity against you.
Noonan misses the nutsack of Fipps(2), but successfully bull rushes him back. (You calculated bull rush correctly. You get +7 with Improved Bull Rush, but you’d need an additional feat to attack him at the same time.) No Attack of Opportunity against you.
Atlatl and Sidhon, go ahead and post your actions.
Sidhon wrote:
Sidhon hisses quietly to those around him, "I encourage everyone to get your bearings, and be prepared to go up, always up to get on deck. It may get difficult to see in a moment."
Sidhon will then cast a prestidigitation - the weakest stair ahead of the bullies still in the hold (so, behind us being threatened, but ahead of the folks 'closing in' from behind) - that stair will be very weak, and 'hinge' down. The tread won't break, and once people see that it's missing, they'll be able to step over (fairly easily). The first one to step on it, and others immediately behind that don't see, should be caught stumbling as the step fails to bear their weight.
'And i'll have to remember to nail that back in place before anyone undeserving breaks an ankle.'
Aside to Conchobhar, "I've got some rope - let's be last out ahead of these bullies, and tie the rope between the bannisters. I really want to see what happens if you don't get on deck before the bell stops. I'll go left, you go right?"
Cast spell: prestidigitation (DC 13)
it still being round 1, and all...
To push the game on slightly, we'll play out Sidhon, Sandara, and Conchobhar's actions until Atlatl posts.
Then it will be pirates 5-8.
Then Zorg.
~~~

Sandara casts a spell on herself quickly and then another at the bottom of the steps, covering the pirates below with Obscuring Mist.

Conchobhar listens to Sidhon's suggestion for a moment with one ear and seems to consider it. Then he turns to talk to him and his face darkens with disgust. The Conchobhar weel not listen to ze words of dragonfilth. He turns to face upwards and he sees Rosie's acts of derring do, and says (to himself? since he clearly isn't speaking to Sidhon) Oh what magnifeecence! I must know zees woman. And he begins to sing a heroic song of the feats of a mighty heroine. Inspire Courage Everyone gets +1 to attack and damage.

Sidhon It will take you a round of concentration to significantly weaken the step. Conchobhar seems to have a blood-boiling loathing of kobolds (and goblins too, it turns out) and won't work with you, but Atlatl seemed willing. So-- concentrate on the step? Or find a new recruit for the rope trick? Sandara cast obscuring mist below, which might help.

Atlatl?

Male: HP: 10/10 | DR5/cold | AC 15 | T 15 | FF 10 | CMD 16 | F +2 | R +7 | W +2 | Init +5| Per +6 (+8 traps) Undine Ninja 1

Atlatl, shaking his head, not sure if these are the correct actions, and not knowing exactly what his attack modifier is, decides to attack the right flank as that is directly in front of him just to get past that front line. Syl 4....here I come...

Attack (non lethal): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
Acrobatics : 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

He has 'Weapons Finesse' as a Feat, but because he is empty handed believes he cant use it here....

Alright Atlatl, you hit! (For future reference, your "Unarmed," presumably fist or kick attack is listed under Melee on your character sheet. You have a +5, it looks like weapon finesse counts- I wasn't sure about that either. And you have the +1 from Conchobhar.)

Now roll damage. That will be (dice)d3+1+1(/dice)... again, the extra +1 is from Conchobhar.

Sidhon?

male (HP 22/22 | AC 17 | T 16 | FF 12 | CMD 15 | F +3 | R +5 | W +3 | Init +4 | Per +7) kobold magus 3

i'd tried to update earlier today, guess it didn't stick.

Sidhon concentrates intently on the step, loosening it ahead of anyone advancing up the stairs.

'well, I'll have to remember the dapper gnome has race issues.

Righty-o. Sidhon is concentrating on the step. One round from now it will be significantly weakened.

Atlatl got a really good punch in. (Still need to roll for damage.) Unfortunately he did not get past Syl with his Acrobatics, so he's right in front of her.

(Can a GM tell me... does a failed acrobatics check automatically provoke in this case? He ran at her, punched her, and failed to tumble to the other side of her.)

~~~
Now the remaining 4 pirates go. They are blinded by the obscuring mist, giving them a -4 to their attacks.
Aretta Bansion (Pirate 5) swings at where she remembers Sidhon to be.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (4) + 3 - 4 = 3, Non-Lethal Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 MISS.
Kipper (Pirate 6) attempts to move forward to attack Sandara. She had moved down 5' to target her spell. He needs to make a DC10 Acrobatics check or fall. Acrobatics: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (13) + 13 = 26 MADE IT
He attacks Sandara with his sap.Attack: 1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 6 - 4 = 21, Non-Lethal Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 HITS, She takes 5 DAMAGE.
Shivikah (Pirate 7) also attempts to move forward against Sandara.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7MISS. She FALLS prone.
Jaundiced Jape (Pirate 8) swings where he thinks Conchobhar is.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (10) + 3 - 4 = 9, Non-Lethal Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2MISS.
Zorg It is finally your turn. I will allow the sleep spell to go off this turn even tho' I've found out since that it takes a round to cast. Everything below Sandara is covered in fog. The fog won't interfere with your spell. Each step is 5'. Do you still wish to aim for the lower pirates? You should be able to center to get them and not your allies, er... people standing on the step below you. What's your DC?
