Guys, I am organizing an event in Woodstock for July 7-9. About 5000 people are expected to attend. So the logistics of housing, food, transportation, etc is quite the thing.

So I will be slow until then.

Luckily, we only have this battle and one more day to play before our live climax-of-book-1 event! So being a bit slow right now isn't too much of a thang.

Just for curiosity... Doug, how didja like roll20?

roll20.net works pretty well, and I like it. It's hard for me to find time to play on that platform, but it's always nice to have that system in my back pocket. I'm thinking, for instance, of days in the winter when the weather might force us to cancel PFS at New Paltz - if enough people are game, we can potentially still play from our homes.

We had agreed to a one-time live (skype) game on Thursday July 11.

I would be open to playing on Roll20 every few months. But I think Zorg needs to be judicious about this with his spouse. So probably no more than every 6 months.

I'd like to start early-ish. 6pm or 7pm at the latest because Friday is a work day for me.

Noonan, you'll have to jump in when you can.

Gilraen and Sidhon have known how to get to my house for decades.

Noonan we have tested skype and it seems to work for sound. I'm not going to post more than the general maps online. We'll do our best to explain the set up when its your action.

Noonan - first, Sidhon will try to keep Noonan's preferences in mind going forward... He's going to try to be the group's armorer, and having lived with simple kobold folk, he can probably anticipate Noonan's approach to arms and armor. :) We'll get you covered.

Noonan - second, one of the first thing's Apocalypso did is post the campaign actions under the campaign info section and they include a bunch of stuff in addition to smoozing. I think Apocalypso's just playing up the drinking as a very noticable piratical activity going on all around. For Sidhon, the extended drunken partying is a great distraction for other activities. :)

For leveling up Hp-->

If you roll less than half of your die, then take half, rounded up.

Now dice are funny because half of a d6 is 3.5, not 3
This is an effect of dice not having a zero, but a 1 as the lowest number.

Halfway between 1 and 6 is 3.5, round up to 4.

half of a d8 is 4.5, so 5.

And half of a d12 is 6.5, so 7.

Unfamiliar with PFS. What I have heard makes me go 'eh'

@Sidhon Of course I am obvious! Everyone will be so busy looking at me that they overlook everyone else.

One more hp is good for me, given he's now up to a whopping 13 for 3rd level!

Pathfinder Society probably won't work in our case as we can't be goblins and kobolds without special boons that are pretty rare (given out at Cons). So unless Sidhon and I want to switch characters, it's a non-starter and not really worth looking into the details.

@Noonan - sry, yes. I'd imagine there should be some bandoliers available among the booty, if you don't mind scrubbing a bit of blood out. Sidhon will help fit them to Noonan's size - though he may need a ladder to reach.

I'm contemplating what sort of mischief Sidhon would be up to while a drunken shindig commences on deck. Several things I'm thinking about will be a dead letter as soon as we find out we're getting moved to the new ship. One thing I'm looking for in the store is some 'squibs' or cartridges - twists of gunpowder in paper. Sidhon would be using them to develop traps around the current ship, and I can justify Sidhon not having an opportunity to do anything with them before being transferred.

Unfortunately, it would never occur to Sidhon that we would get posted to the skeleton crew taking the prize ship to market. Doesn't make any operational sense at all - just fodder for Scourge's revenge fantasies. Which will leave Sidhon fairly unprepared... :\ Sidhon hates unprepared.
