Well I just hope my order ships tomorrow.
I just got an email stating that my card payment needed to be updated. All of the information was the same and there is nothing wrong with my card.
Perhaps waiting almost 20 days to ship a product is on their end and not mine, so another delay.
I really am not happy with Paizo right now.
So my card has been charged, but my order still shows as pending. can someone at Paizo explain what happened?
Another year where I will be getting the GEN CON stuff after the shipping date and another month of the same.

Anything from Paizo around the SF player core shipping estimate for subscribers being pushed out past the 25th? My order is still pending, and I'm a bit worried this will now mean it won't ship until after the weekend.
I asked this on the SF Core page and I do not think I got a response.

The above comment is correct! If an official answer would ease your worries a bit more, you will not receive access to your PDF until your specific order has shipped!
Has anyone gotten an e-mail like this in the past.
The email was dated 19 May 2025:
A package containing 3 items from Paizo Order #44568723 is expected to ship from the Paizo warehouse by Friday, May 30 via USPS Priority Mail, estimated 2 to 5 business days in transit.
This e-mail also gave me access to pdf's.
So does that mean that by card was billed on the 19th of May or does that mean that it would be done sometime before the 30th?

Thanks! Yeah I get and share your frustrations. Realistically I know I can wait another week or so, the whole process just seems very flawed. I get that a subscription doesnt promise early access, but its also the only benefit for international subscribers in particular (free PDF is more than cancelled out by the large shipping costs).
Overall I think communication is key though. If Paizo isn't going to change the systems that tie them to this shipping model some more transparency would be nice. I love Paizo and want to support through subscription but its hard to rationalise when the threat of getting products later at increase cost comes up for every big release.
Anyway, fingers crossed you get your order soon.
I agree. I want to support them but the constant shenanigans around thie time and having 2 orders in a row ship out past their deadline is not acceptable.
When I got through to someone they inferred that I wanted things that I had not paid for. I did not appreciate the implication that I was trying to steal things from them.
When it is a constant thing, ya, I am going to complain.

I'm a little frustrated at being at the end of the queue again, as an overseas (UK) customer knowing that I will have to wait quite some time for my physical books to arrive just adds to the frustration. I accept that the estimated end shipping date is just an estimate, and it's pretty rare for Paizo to still be processing subscriber shipping after street date.
What irritates me more than anything is the discussions on social media. My favorite (/s) question so far has been "has anyone had experience blending SF2E and PF2E in a game?". No. I can guarantee that nobody has because none of us have the final SF2 rules yet.
There are people posting threads and comments online as if the books are in everyone's hands - not "here are some cool highlights that I love in the new books", but actual deep-dive questions on rules interactions. And as a rules nerd, I'd love to take part in those discussions. Except I don't have the books yet.
I know there's nothing I or anyone else can do about it, but it's actually depressing to see people having "how does X work with Y" discussions when only a small fraction of the player base actually have the book.

So I did the email, however with the weekend I'm not going to get a response till Monday. I did look at the order on my account again and saw the line recognizing the charge to my card. So most likely my card was charged but the product won't ship till Monday, and since the PDF access is based on the order being shipped it should be available to me then.
Here's hoping for a better Monday.
P.S. this is the first time I have dealt with such a delay between charge and shipping so my confusion might be just due to my bad luck that my order's charge and shipping happen around a weekend.
Note for Paizo: please try to not let the charge and shipping process happen on separate days(especially weekends), it's just makes customers like me confused and worried.
ATTA Terevalis Unctio: sorry to hear about your order situation and I hope it gets resolved before Gen-Con. But sadly it does say "end shipping estimate" at the top of the thread, I just wish they would post about any delay or technical issues for the subscribers so no one gets any expectations about the subscription that can lead to frustration like yours. communication problems have always been an issue in the gaming community be it tabletop or electronic.

Yes. I have been a subscriber to at least 1 line for 10+ years. As I mentioned in a higher post on this thread, sometimes I get mine super early, other times a week or so in, and sometimes like this one I am at the tail end.
Remember this is not a warehouse like Amazon or some major distributor. Paizo is a small company and are pulling and packing the boxes by hand.

Yes. I have been a subscriber to at least 1 line for 10+ years. As I mentioned in a higher post on this thread, sometimes I get mine super early, other times a week or so in, and sometimes like this one I am at the tail end.
Remember this is not a warehouse like Amazon or some major distributor. Paizo is a small company and are pulling and packing the boxes by hand.
(To add to this, looking at the company credits at the end of any book, we can see they have about ~6 people working on doing all that.)
Got my shipping notice. Unfortunately, no PDF for the novel which I am really excited about. [I also will be sharing it with my gaming group to see if I can get them to play Starcraft too. ;)]

Random lateness is understood but consistent is unacceptable.
