Multiple status bonuses to different parts of a Strike

Rules Discussion

Would a spell that adds strike damage (for example draconic barrage) be affected by Burn It's status bonus and, if so, would the status bonus apply alongside something that adds a status bonus to the strike directly (for example divine smite).

It depends on the phrasing whether the instances are distinct, separate.
So "apply alongside" is a no, and in Draconic Barrage, the energy damage is added to the Strike damage, so not separate. Since it's a spell doing fire damage, it would get the Burn It! damage, yet it's all a package added to the Strike so other Status bonuses to the Strike would not stack. You'd benefit from the larger of the two.

If it were phrased as "and then they take" or similarly, it'd be muddy, but I'd allow it. But even Spellstrike considers the effects combined, so I'm unsure there is such a thing. Maybe if you had a Strike that then did Persistent fire damage from a spell/alchemist item?

The most common spell that's definitely a separate instance of damage that happens well after the trigger is Flame Wisp.

It creates little hovering flames that react to Strikes and then fly down to hit the struck target.

Things like alchemical bomb splash *would* be a separate instance from the hit, but that's specifically declared to be treated as if they are the same. So you can look for effects like that.

It is phrased "additional damage of the chosen type" so the damage of the spell itself is not a status bonus at least. Besides, if the other status bonus is to Strike and of different damage type they absolutely add up. I'm not sure only if the damage types are the same.

Isn't that what I wrote?

There's additional fire damage designated as part of the Strike's damage.
Then there's a Status bonus to the fire damage because it's from a spell so qualifies for Burn it.
Then there's the possible Status bonus that's directly to the Strike w/ Divine Smite given as the example.
Since both Status bonuses add to Strike damage, they don't stack, even if one does so indirectly.
