Yeah. That’s what nearly every criticism boils down to. “X has Y characteristic, and I would prefer that it have Z characteristic.” There’s nothing inherently invalid about that sort of complaint. And, yeah, for games you can literally always respond to any complaint with “play it that way then.” But there’s no particularly good reason to let that keen insight shut down conversation.
