Rondolero Swashbuckler - two weapon fighting

By my reading, a Rondolero Swashbuckler could use two-weapon fighting with a buckler (shield bash) as an off-hand weapon and apply precise strike with the primary weapon (not with the shield-bash). Probably not RAI, but appears good RAW. Am I missing something?

Swashbuckler Deeds.

Precise Strike (Ex): At 3rd level, while she has at least 1 panache point, a swashbuckler gains the ability to strike precisely with a light or one-handed piercing melee weapon (though not natural weapon attacks), adding her swashbuckler level to the damage dealt. To use this deed, a swashbuckler cannot attack with a weapon in her other hand or use a shield other than a buckler.

Rondolero Swashbuckler.

Buckler Bash (Ex): At 2nd level, a rondelero swashbuckler can perform a shield bash with a buckler (use the same damage and critical multiplier as for a light shield). He can treat a buckler as a one-handed piercing melee weapon for the purposes of the swashbuckler’s finesse and all feats and class abilities that refer to such a weapon.

by my reading no... Buckler Bash allows him to treat the buckler as a weapon, Precise strike forbids an attack with a weapon in the off hand.

As TxSamm88 pointed out precise strike cannot be used when attacking with a weapon in your other hand.

Two weapon fighting specifies that you have to be wielding the weapon in your off hand. This statement shuts down any shenanigans about the fact the buckler is not in your “hand”. Those types of shenanigans are the only thing I can think of that would lead anyone to think that the Rondolero Swashbuckler can shield bash and use precise strike.

Ahh.. Thank you. I didn't re-read Two-weapon fighting feat before posting.

That satisfies shutting it down RAW. Like I said, I didn't think this was RAI, but I thought I'd found a path that I hadn't seen anyone use and couldn't get it out of my head.
