Which archetypes got a Remaster facelift?

Which archetypes got changed in the Remaster (specifically Player Core 2), for better or for worse, that you're aware of?

I'll start:

Snarecrafter

Setting up snares is now akin to Prescient Planner in that you simply deduct gold from your character sheet and set up any snare you have the formula for in the field.

No more buying the snare or snare components for a specific snare (depending on your GMs interpretation of the old rules) in advance. Now you will always have the perfect snare for the job, at least until you go broke.

And Snarecrafter allows you to use your class DC without the buy-in of a level 10 feat.

Though few people believed otherwise, it was finally put to bed once and for all that you cannot reclaim a snare, once set, under any circumstances.

Snares got majorly buffed in the remaster!

What else have you found?

Dragon Disciple has been reworked into the Dragonblood Versatile Heritage, as far as I can tell.

Oracle is the obvious one. It got massively upgraded with easy access to Cursebound abilities. Too easy, really, since its just as good at them as the Oracle itself until level 11 and has no real restrictions on which ones it can take (since they're not mystery specific or otherwise limited in any way from the archetype).

Archer and Mauler both got a small but weighty rewording in their dedication

instead of proficiency with their respective weapons, they get familiarity

Steel Skin from Sentinel now lets you sleep in any armor you're proficient in, rather than Heavy being locked behind Master proficiency.

Archer got a big buff overall: not only does it grant you familiarity in all Bows and Crossbows, they also added Crossbow Ace, Running Reload and Unobstructed Shot.

Bounty Hunter now gives you the +2 to Gather Information on a target by default and gives you Monster Hunter if you have Hunt Prey when you select the Archetype, instead of making you an Expert in Survival and giving you the +2 only if you had Hunt Prey prior to the Archetype.

Pirate got a small but welcome change to Boarding Assault: It used to be the Strike was dependent on having disembarked, while now you can always do Double Stride (or Acro) + Strike and disembarking just activates the extra damage.

The only Archetype that I can see that got technically worse is Martial Artist. Gorilla Stance wasn't reprinted, which isn't a problem for Monks because they can just take it anyway as Legacy content. The Remastered Martial Artist doesn't have access to Gorilla Stance because it's not listed in their additional feats. I guess you could use pre-remaster Martial Artist (which is exactly the same as remastered MA, except they get Gorilla Stance as an option), but it just seems weird.

The Pirate dedication is interesting now because Boarding Assault is now Sudden Charge with slight upgrades. Could be worth taking for that alone for some martials.

Weapon Improviser can apply the runes of their handwraps to improvised weapons.

Viking gets Additional Lore for Sailing and Warfare instead of only trained in Sailing Lore. Also Familiarity instead of only trained proficiency in Battle Axe, Hatchet, Shortsword and Longsword, including critical specialization at level 5. Shield Boss and Shioeld Spilkes were also added to the list. Interstingly, a simple shield bash was not.

Viking also has the new 8th level feat "Into the Fray", allowing you to spend 2 actions to Stride and attack two different enemies during this Stride without MAP, as long as you're wielding a weapon and a shield.

Marshal got a lateral buff in that their base aura size increased to 15ft from 10 and DC lowered to easy. However it can no longer crit the check for 20ft of aura.

I believe this allows you to hit the check using assurance most of the time (which may beg the question why is it still there).

For characters that don't have the space in their build for taking Assurance in Diplomacy and/or Intimidation.

I'm not sure what else I would be using Assurance for with those two skills, so it seems like a feat taken just for the benefit of auto-success at the ability's skill check.

Poisoner looks a lot better, with a removal of the advanced alchemy level reduction, though it could really benefit from a poison->acid feat option.

It's actually not most of the time, it's always. As long as you keep the skill maxed out at the necessary level (so, Expert at 3rd, Master at 7th, Legendary at 15th) you will always pass an Easy DC for your level with Assurance, no questions asked.

So yeah at least for Marshal, Assurance is a really good investment, particularly if you don't plan on upgrading Charisma itself.

My Champion, for example, has Dread Marshal, but I don't plan on picking Assurance in anything. At least not yet (currently level 7).

Do any of the archetypes or feats allow for sanctification other than Cleric or Champion?

A search for the word "sanctification" did not bring up anything for any if the non-multiclass archetypes.
