I am in the prep phase of running this campaign. I heard The Crusader Road was inspired by this AP. Are there any other tales that would help flavor NPC's, Locations, Factions, or Encounters? I would like to steal inspiration to add character to some of the Brevoy houses. As I have not read any of the Tales Series, so any suggestions are appreciated.

It's been a while since I read them to say they are relevant but there is always the actual Pathfinder Chronicles from the original 1e ap "Prodigal Sons 1-6"
I rember they take place in the river Kingdoms so while it may not have direct locations in the Stolen Lands it may have political ties or maybe ties to a non-Brevan PC.
You could also look at the Standalone 1e adventure The Emerald spire which takes place in the River Kingdoms a few days travel from Pitax and could introduce other political rivals for your player Kingdom particularly the Hellknight Order of the Rack.
You could also look at the Guide to the River Kingdoms.
You could look into lore about Iobaria and the Cyclopses if you want to expand the lore around Varnhold Vanishing.
There is lots of things that can expand Kingmaker.
Also all of the Companions come from the Owlcat Computer game and James Jacob completely changed them for this campaign as they didn't originally exist. I think the best version of a lot of the companions is a middle ground between the video game and the companion guide.

We've not actually published any fiction directly inspired by Kingmaker. "The Crusader Road" was a tie in fiction piece for the Pathfdinder MMO by Goblinworks, similar to "The Emerald Spire." All of THAT was itself inspired by Kingmaker, but mostly in the way that Kingmaker has kingdom building themes set in the Stolen Lands... not so much the lore of the region.
That said, Nicolas Paradise's suggestions are pretty good ones to go with.
Brevoy's houses aren't something we've done much work expanding upon yet. It's one of those regions that's been on our to-visit list for a long time. We'll get there eventually, but that won't be of much help at the moment, alas.

I'm currently running a homebrew in Brevoy and I love the setting. Can't wait for y'all to revist it. Would love to see a political intrigue campaign with an adventuring focus on what happened to the Golka dwarves. Would love a 6 book AP with the first 10 levels being a political intrigue Brevoy storyline, and culminating with a high level adventure into the Golushkin mountains to learn the fate of the Golkas!

Thank you everyone for your reply's. What tales would you recommend that help you flesh out the world of Golarion? What I am looking for are books that help you visualize the interactions on common groups. For instance I expect at some point during Kingmaker for the party to encounter emissaries from Cheliax, Taldor, and Kelesh. I would like to be able to give a more colorful description of there differences. Curently I have Spanish inquisition worshiping devils, The last years of Rome, and Persian empire.
