Thrown shields

With the new rules about how shields are meant to be strapped to your arm, how does that work mechanically and narratively with shields with the thrown trait? Would a returning rune "re-strap" the thing?

There's no clear rule for these shields even in pre-remaster.

But Meteor Shields have in the their description "A meteor shield is made from thin steel and has quick-release straps, allowing for easy, long-distance throws."

I understand this as you are able to unstrap interact action incorporated as part of your throw attack action (still triggering reactions). But I can understand if some GM may interpret this as just a flavor description.

About re-strap. Nothing in the rules set that you need a separated action to strap a shield. I consider that the same interact action used to draw or pick up it already includes strap it. So I also consider that a returning rune is able to re-strap this shield too.

Yet most of this is houserule as I said there's no clear rules to deal with shield straps except from detach and even the "quick-release straps" doesn't say anything mechanically (there's no mention to actions or other gameplay mechanics).

It's something that I hope that designers make more clear in the shield rules in some future faq.
