I love it when Paizo gave us Kaiju, shame we only got stats for 7 of them. So anyway lets talk about kaiju.

Agmazar(CR26 Undead, Mythic Realms)
Agyra(CR27 Magical Beast, Bestiary 4)
Bezravnis(CR26 Magical Beast, Bestiary 4)
Cimurlian
Ebeshra
Frovith(P2e)
Igroon
Jakabu(P2e)
Mantraska
Mogaru(CR28 Magical Beast, Bestiary 4)
Shbloom
Lord Varklops(CR30 Magical Beast, Bestiary 6)
Queen Vorgozen(CR29 Ooze, Bestiary 6)
Yarthoon(CR25 Magical Beast, Bestiary 6)
Yorak
Zimivra

Looks like Pathfinder 2e did a book that describes more of them.

Cimurlian looks like a massive polar bear, eyes glow like stars, massive ice shards grow out of her body wich has many animal bones in them.

Igroon is a towering saurian covered in thousands of tessellating chitinous plates, numerous electric blue eyes seemly spread on it's face.

Jakabu resembles a massive flying whale with ghostly flesh and sunken red eyes, always surrounded by undead seagulls, flying fish, and stranger creatures.

Mantraska resembles a massive raptor covered in greenery, head and body looks like mountains, legs like fallen trees.

Shbloom resembles a massive cuttlefish with a 100 tentacles.

Yorak resembles a massive rhino-like with jade eyes and surrounded by storm clouds and green lightning.

Lost Omens Monsters of Myth 2E and AP167 Ready Fight from Fists Of The Ruby Phoenix 2E both have a chapter on Kaiju.

Scarab Sages

I think the Oliphaunt of Janderlay can be fairly considered as a Kaiju.

I guess that would depend on how one defines a Kaiju. Is it a matter of stats (Kaiju subtype), of size and power, or the roll it serves in-story? My two cents.

There are a few third party pdfs on Kaiju. Well worth picking up if you need more Kaiju in your gaming life!

The Oliphaunt of Jandelay is a CR30 CN Colossal Outsider, it does not have the Kaiju subtype. So it is not an actual Kaiju. Yes this section is for creatures with the Kaiju subtype.

PFRPGrognard, do they add new Kaiju and if so do you know their names and maybe descriptions?

I seem to recall a 3PP PDF about Kaiju which included a recipe for monster-shaped cookies ...

I really do wish we got the stats for all those Kaiju in 1e....well at least we got 7 of them.

Agreed. At least we have the Kaiju subtype to homebrew the rest.

Yeah, but making up high level monsters is a lot more challenging then the low level ones.

Indeed it is.

So wich one is your favorite?

Mine is King Mogaru.

Has anyone used Kaiju in any of their campaigns?

Of the stated Kaiju, Lord Varklops, the Thrice-Headed Fiend. The guy is apocalyptical in a delightful way.

If I was to choose based on what I think has the best story potential, it would be a toss up between Cimurlian Great Bear of the Frozen North or Yorak The Horned Thunder.

Anyone?

Dark Archive

I like King Mogaru, bc he is the pathfinder version of Godzilla.

I also think that it would be cool to roll out the encounters of kaiju. such as the seasonal fight between Mogaru and Agyra.

Yeah, King Mogaru is my favorite though I would have preferred him to be green.
