Golarion is a death world.
Every few months there is a major catastrophe going on somewhere, some able to devastate entire settlements or even regions. Extremely powerful monsters and hidden horrors in every little corner. Individuals can amass an amount of personal power that can reasonably be called "demigod-like" and rarely even beyond.
So yeah, if you aren't a protagonist, I imagine it's a very scary place to live.

That's true of just about every ficitonal world lol, including action movie worlds. The death toll is just horrendous. Mostly because we consumers of said fiction don't like reading, watching, or playing in "no conficts here! We're all fine! Check back next century" world.
But yet, the populations of these worlds seem pretty healthy and stable. Despite the mad gods, vampires, etc.
The only possible explanation is that they are all having crazy get down amounts of badabing badaboom and reproducing like bunnies. :)

Urdefhans are depicted somewhat similar to Klingons in Extinction Curse.
I wonder what an Urdefhan wedding is like?
Since the majority of males are sterile, do urdefhans even bother with our kind of understanding of marriage?
What happens with the virile males? Do they receive elevated status within the tribe? Or possibly the opposite.
