Concerned about the Gatewalkers game... I have an entire gaming stream named the same.

Pathfinder Second Edition General Discussion

Hi all,

This may be me sitting up and asking for trouble, but in 2020 I developed an adventure in another gaming system called "The Gatewalker Saga" and have been streaming it on Twitch for about two years. We've got merch, a registered logo, and so on. It's nothing major, just a small game with a small number of followers. Nothing special at all.

Is there a way for me to check in with Paizo to figure out if they've got an issue with this? I didn't know anything about their plans to release something called "Gatewalkers" until someone commented on my stream.

There is also a video game named Gatewalkers.

But it seems like a generic enough concept and name that getting into legal trouble from just that word alone would be unlikely.

Now, if you were using the name Monster, that's another matter.

So yeah, be sure to check with an actual business/brand lawyer.
