Silver Crusade

Scenario 2B: The Life of the Party states:
When you close your location, before banishing its cards, search it and shuffle all of its story banes and proxies into a random location."

Does this mean all story banes and proxies in the location get shuffled into one other location or would they each get randomly shuffled into another location?

If the location is being closed due to defeating a henchman and the location has the villain, so it doesn't close, would the rest of the story banes and proxies be shuffled into a random location? (which could be the same location as the villain since it's location and not other location?)

One other location ("A random location"). If it said shuffle each story bane and proxie into a random location, I'd rule differently.

If you succeed at meeting the To Close requirement, search the location for villains. If you find any, banish all non-villain cards from the location. The location is not closed—but at least you know where those villains are!

I'd rule that any story banes and proxies are banished to the vault. That's what the rule cited above tells you to do, and since you did not close your location, the scenario power didn't trigger to override that rule.
