Just saw this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=At7ORzmAaT4&ab_channel=Destiny talking about how our solar system is in the middle of 1,000 light year wide bubble. Could fit in well with the crystal sphere's cosmology from DnD and starfinder. Golarion is in one bubble, earth in another but what lies beyond the spheres in the depths of the dark tapestry?

I always thought Golarion was in a (relatively) nearby galaxy. this https://pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Galaxy lists the "Milky Spiral" as one of the galaxies visible with a telescope, which sounds rather like the Milky Way, and if it can be seen by Medieval-era telescopes, it must be relatively close (probably in the Local Group).

Hmm interesting I suppose milk spiral could be milky way, still core point of my post stands as they don't need to be in the same galaxy. Hmmm what would be lying in wait between the stars, between the arms of a galaxy and beyond the sphere of the galaxy in that void between them? Crystal sphere spelljammer theory being nothing more than a mideval attempt to understand concepts we're only now begining to verify scientifically.
