The final book in the Tome of Beasts series, this tome packs a serious punch with over 400 creatures to delight, surprise, and horrify your players!

The Tome of Beasts III will bring 400 new monsters to 5th edition, from ghost knight templars to riptide drakes as well as foul new fiends, challenging aberrations, and so much more. Not to mention: all Tome of Beasts III Kickstarter backers at the $29 level and up can submit an original monster design for possible publication.
In addition to the Tome of Beasts III hardcover and PDFs, this Kickstarter will fund the creation of 16 or more beautiful monster minis, four VTT editions for digital play, an exclusive engraved 7-dice set, and a ready-to-play Tome of Beasts III Lairs hardcover of fast, furious encounters and short adventures--so you can get these beasts on the table to play, fast!
Funded in only 20 minutes, a ton of stretch goals unlocked in the first 2 days. Here’s a sample of what has been unlocked so far:
- * 15 additional backer-submitted monsters
- * 12 additional monsters, including the arctic glacial crawler, coastal beach weird, jungle-dwelling drudge pitcher, and city-dwelling dough drake
- * 3 additional NPCs, such as the breathstealer and psychophant cultist
- * 2 fey sovereigns, including the Fey Lady known as the Coral Queen
- * 2 additional adventures for Tome of Beasts 3 Lairs, including the 1st-level adventure “Farmer Grumbo’s Headache” (Can the adventurers help the farmer discover why his prize-winning sheep are disappearing before the next Halfling Wool-Off starts?)
- * 4 guest designer monster reveals, two of which appeared in yesterday’s update
- * 2 additional miniatures now available as add-ons: the small puffinfolk and the huge necrotech thunderer
- * An NPC Features table, which gives you the statistics for turning any generic NPC into one of the humanoids in Tome of Beasts 3

Wow, just WOW! You gave us the biggest first day of a Kickstarter that Kobold Press has ever had, and you’ve blown through 21 stretch goals--in only the first week! In those 21 stretch goals, you’ve unlocked:

18 additional monsters, including powerful planar beings like Archangel Hala’ath and the wasteland-dwelling aphasian abomination

The Tome of Beasts 3 kickstarter has just crossed $500,000 with more than 6,200 backers and there are still 3 weeks to go!!!!
New stretch goals include additional minis added, additional submit a monster slots opened up, pawns added, etc.
I have backed this! Hoping the tuberkin are a playable race at some point in the future! :D
