I was tweaking with the soulforged, and have some questions
1) All soulforged items last until dismissed
The soulforged armament remains manifested until you Dismiss this effect.
Which means a fighter with 3 soulforged items can go dungeoning with all 3 items equipped 24/24.
isn't it?
2) Soul Flare and armament essence form. Seems that if you fail the flat check do you waste your daily use ( so basically this may turn out in a perk doing absolutely nothing ). Is it right, isn't it?
Not that losing your weapon or shield during a turn would be a great thing ( considering you already expended a reaction ) but still not bad as losing your manifest essence form.
2a) It's just an oversight or it's intendend that if you turn a critical hit into a normal hit you don't have any issue with the check?
3) Manifest soulforged item > Manifest Soul Essence form.
How does it work during the fight?
At round 3 I find out a party members needs healing, the room is filling up with fire or the dragon is about to breath, and so on.
I do already have my armor equipped.
What happens?
Does the armor empower with its soul essence?
Or have I to dismiss it and the summon a different armor?
What about the dismiss action ( nothing, as far as I can tell, mentions that you need an action to dismiss soulforged stuff )?
4) Manifest Soulforged weapon and thrown weapon.
Throwing a weapon and then expending an action to manifest it again in your hand could work? It would save an eventual lvl 3 rune at a cost of 1 out of 3 actions, when required. It's so stupid it won't be probably neither be used nor abused, but was wondering about the answer.
5) Fortune and Flat check. Is there any way to reroll a flat check? Do hero points work? Is there any other mechanic which can be used to deal with such stuff?

Yes.

Yes, using Soul Flare and then failing the flat check would dismiss the armor. If the armor was manifested using Essence Form already then you couldn't manifest the essence form again that day.
2a) It's just an oversight or it's intendend that if you turn a critical hit into a normal hit you don't have any issue with the check?
Not sure. But it is written such that you don't need a flat check if you still get a regular hit.

Yeah, that's the big question isn't it. Dismiss is actually a defined action.
So by strict RAW, you would have to spend an action doing Dismiss first then spend another action to manifest the armor again to get the essence form.
But that is pretty antagonistic.
4) Manifest Soulforged weapon and thrown weapon.
I don't see any restrictions preventing choosing a thrown weapon. I also don't see any rules text about automatically unmanifesting as soon as it leaves your hand. So I guess it would work.
5) Fortune and Flat check.
I'm not aware of anything preventing fortune effects from working on flat checks. There is a rule saying that you can't change the DC of a flat check unless the effect specifically calls out that it affects flat checks. But it doesn't say anything about fortune effects.

Hmm... A Devil caliber lawyer could argue that Manifest Soulforged Armament is neither a spell, nor an effect coming from a magical item. So the defined Dismiss action does not apply to it. Therefore no defined action meets the terms needed to dismiss the effect of the armament manifestation and the GM must create their own and decide how much action cost it requires.
