It's worth noting that the OP has requested the thread be locked altogether, because they made a new thread to replace it with a clearer message.

That said, I will reiterate, since it's on-topic with the wizard school talk, that wizard schools have been around since Ursula K Le Guin's beautiful Earthsea books, which may or may not have been ripped off by a worse, much less pleasant author who shall remain unnamed. So it's a pretty classic story device. :)
