Which is more Cliché?

OR

The Small character with a big gun (a.k.a. the Rocket Raccoon archetype)

I think it depends. In some areas its the Big Guy/Big Gun, in others its Little Girl/Big Gun.
personally, unless I am specifically looking for it, I encounter the Big Guy/Big Gun a lot more.

Large character with the large gun is more cliche, the small chaacter with the big gun is the subversion of it.
