Now, one could easily cheat and pick up the Helpful trait from Adopted... opening up Industrious Urbanite, Overwhelming Magic Elves for the aforementioned Soul-Binder Wizard... start with TWO Spell Focus feats. Lol. That is never a bad start for a Wizard.
Or an Eye For Talent Human... jack up homeboy's stats even further, since it's all about our Soulbound Mauler Familiar.
Or... be a Gnome... take some (all?) of your levels in Carnivalist Rogue and grab the Ki Pool Rogue Talent... BEWILDERING KOAN! Best. Debuff. Ever.
Then homeboy just beats on the idiot while they ponder life's great mysteries...

Rhetorical Flourish is awesome.
I have a Tengu rumormonger with it, and Confabulist, and Lovable Scoundrel... and the Amiable Blunder trait... his name is Cawn (pronounced Con), and he is a pathological liar. With other fun stuff like Obfuscate Story, Steal Story, and Convincing Lie he can even have other people spread his lies for him with his Bluff bonus instead of theirs. He is a Charlatan-Guild Agent cRogue 4/Brazen Deceiver Bard 11, and I built him as a legacy NPC just to randomly stick into campaigns. If you ever encounter a Tengu in Long Nose Form, be nice... you do not want him spreading lies about the party.
Now I am all sidetracked. Lol. Where was I? Making a Mauler Familiar steal a MacGuffin?
Nice! - I will "steal" him as an NPC. I love NPC that makes social conflicts for the party.

I have Cawn's build posted in one of my random "Meet: Whoever" threads around here somewhere... I think I have him listed as an UnRogue, but his levels should be in cRogue to get the Convincing Lie talent... stat him out like a Sorcerer, max ranks in Bluff, and I allow him to use Long Nose Form whenever I want him to... rather than just 1/day... since he is an NPC. The long-nosed liar thing is funny to me on a lot of levels...
Anyways, the Killer Croc Scaleheart grappler would probably just be a single class Tetori Monk, unless the alignment just didn't make sense. But, I already have a Kasatha Tetori that has four arms and eight legs from worshipping Mazmezz. Lol. As a GM, I wouldn't have a problem allowing the Scaleheart to take the Goblin's Feral Gnasher Barbarian archetype, either... Barbarian would be fun for the Tyrant Totem so you could get Swallow Whole. If neither of those really fit what's going on, then there is always Brawler or Bloodrager... I've even used a mixture of UnRogue and Mesmerist for a Succubus that likes to Grapple.
A nonlethal build would almost certainly require the use of Sap Adept/Master, Sneak Attack, and focusing on forcing the flat-footed condition. Possibly Throat Slicer and clever nonlethal Coup de Grace shenanigans. If it is a character designed choice to never kill, then Order of the Penitent Cavalier might be in order. I think there is a Cavalier archetype that can Grapple at the end of a charge (like a football tackle)... tackle, tie, sap CdG...? Or something like Power Attack, Hurtful, Weapon Focus, Dazzling Display, Shatter Defenses? You can scare everyone around you, anyone you scare becomes flat-footed, and you get a free attack as a swift action if you scare someone you threaten...
