Welcome to Clone Batch Catastrophe !
And now I'm confused about what I'm supposed to do next with the information from this Chronicle sheet...
Mostly you just hang on to it and keep track of your wealth, boons, reputation, and fame. Though Acheivement Points have now replaced either reputation or fame. I personally only use the sheets for wealth and boons. That's why I can't remember which was replaced.
ACP can let you buy some neat perks. A skill check from an ally or hireling, cheaper raise dead, that kind of thing.
Also, SFS rules limit you to equipment that is no more than one level above your character, except that if a piece of equipment is on one of your chronicles, then you can buy a that piece of equipment if it is no more than two levels above your character.

Stell's leveled up to 4th. She has new armor (Plexiglass Bodysuit) with light projector and concealed compartments upgrades. She all her weapons, her comm unit, and her computer in these compartments which grant +5 circumstance bonus to Sleight of hand checks to conceal them.
She also got a synaptic accelerator personal upgrade to improve her dexterity up to 17. Most of her skills went up a point or two.
Her weapons skills are now 10% more likely to hit and do 2 to 4 extra points of damage from Operative Class features.
I played through Claim to Salvation in another PBP campaign and am applying that credit to Stell.

You can play a level 3 or 4. You'll just get less cash than you would if we were playing in the 3-4 tier.
I am willing to play at 4th level but get less cash, as suggested above.
Does this module not have a higher tier option? The description on Paizo products page says it's for levels 1-4.

@Stell, any scenario has a high tier and low tier. In case of scenarios 1-4: 1-2 will be low tier and 3-4 will be high tier. It affects DC of skill checks and number (or sometimes even types) of monsters etc. Which tier we go to is not chosen by the players, it is determined by the average level of the party. The only exception is if we are exactly in the middle, then the players decide.
Now it rather turns out that two level 2 players will get to a high tier and get more money than usual. And the other two will get the norm for tier 3-4.
UPD It seems I misread your question and was now Captain Obvious. Well, let it stay here anyway.

That's been my understanding, but when I posted asking about the effect being level 3 or 4, the GM responded with the quote I included above, so it sounded like there was some reason to run at a lower tier for reduced credits for the higher levels.

So, should I get new gear of some sort now? Or have I missed the chance?
This is still my only real experience with Organized Play and I'm pretty paranoid I'm screwing it up.

I can buy what's listed on the Chronicle sheet, right? I could also use a reminder of how many boons I'm allowed to have per slot.

![]() |

Buy away. You are not limited to the chronicle sheet, except for items 2 levels above your own.
It's one boon per slot. Slotless boons being an exception. I think there was another category that allowed multiple boons. ‘Eκάτη, do you know?
What DOES the list of gear on the Chronicle Sheet do anyway?

@Idir, you can buy weapons and armor according to the following rules:
- From CoreBook items of your level +1 (or less)
- From other books items of your level (or less)
- From Chronicle Sheet of your level +2

Based on what Kuozar posted, Stell will have to change her armor and upgrades, as they are not from the core book and are 1 level above her current level.
She'll change the armor to Lashunta Tempweave, Basic. For the single upgrade slot, she'll install the light projector. So her weapons will again be attached the usual way with holsters and shoulder harnesses.

I will stay with Squad Defiance Series now with Jump Jets.
And I will start to use more often Dousing Shield now with computer installed via Easy Access Kit.
So hopefully thats gonna be okay regarding protection.
And I am going to try using sniper rifle from Stell, although my shooting bonus really low.

Stell opted not to get the advanced sniper rifle (too expensive for now) so she still has her old Shirren-Eye, but Thundergun could purchase one. This is PFS game anyway so I don't think players can give equipment to other players.

Clegsch is correct, although there is a dodge. You can lend equipment for the duration of a module. So Stell could effectively give Thundergun the rifle by lending it to him at the beginning of every module.
One thing to note, unless Thundergun has taken sniper rifle proficiency he's going to be firing at -4.

TG is a Soldier 1, so he has all necessary proficiency likely.
BUt due to low Dex he is not really good in shooting. So I am good to still stay without any sniper rifle. For now Magic Missles are a good replacement :)

I will be attending a Steampunk convention this weekend. I will likely have Internet and a laptop so I'll try to check to see if any posts are needed, but I won't have a lot of time for involved posting.

I'll be honest, I'm not entirely certain what we're supposed to be doing except taking the quirkiness of this place in...

Sorry to be absent recently. My wife was hospitalized a few days last week (she's okay and back home now). Between visits to the hospital and finishing my class for the term, I've been distracted from posting.
I'll also let everyone know now that I'm going to be traveling later this week and again toward the beginning of next week. I don't know my access to WIFI although I will have my laptop so I can post if I have time and access. I'll be attending my HS 50th anniversary next weekend.

If anyone wants somethin' to watch/listen to, the folks over at Narrative Declaration are playing Junker's Delight, GMed by Starfinder's Acting Creative Director Thurston Hillman himself!
