Explosion scaling

So given megavolt scales like a spell (2d6/1d12) per level do you think explosions scaling is an error (meant to be 1d6 per level or 2d6 every other level) or that is just meant to be a early ability you stop using in later levels when you have a better option?

Huh, that's very odd. It is supposed to scale to 1d6 damage per level (with the discontinuity at 1st level where it does a bit more), and it used to do so. I will post a note in the welcome to the playtest thread.

The ability at written says it gains an additional 1d6 damage at level 5 and 1d6 damage every 2 levels past that. Meaning its 10d6 max if my math is right. Im guessing people are missing that line?

that scaling was an error, check the pinned thread:

actual damage is 2d6 at level 1 and level 2 and from level 3 and onwards 1d6/level.

so maximum would be 20d6 at level 20.

basically, you start with the "level 2" option and catch up and continue scaling normally from level 3 and onwards.
