Adjust # and Bane Level

Rules Questions and Gameplay Discussion

In Rulebook:
" When you do this, also
treat # as 1 higher for banes; this
increases the difficulty to defeat Veteran banes. "
What that mean?

Example for level 1 scenario With monster veteran 11+##:

1 variant)
# = #+1 =2
## = (#+1)+(#+1)= 4
11+##=15

2 variant)
# = ## =2
## = ### = 3
11+##=14

What is right variant ?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

The first scenario is correct. When you increase # by one, you do that for every instance of # (so monsters with ## are increased by 2).

.

For Adventure 1:
11 + ## =
11+1+1 = 13

For Adventure 2: 11+2+2 = 15

For Adventure 3: 11+3+3 = 17

and so on

Thank you :)
