August 2020 Society Scenario Releases Delay

The August 2020 Society Scenarios are unfortunately going to have their retail release date be delayed until Friday, August 28th, 2020

The scenarios include:

Pathfinder Society Scenario #2-01: Citadel of Corruption

Pathfinder Society Scenario #2-02: Mountain of Sea and Sky

PZOSFS0305E
Starfinder Society Scenario #3-05: The Hivemarket Heist

PZOSFS0306E
Starfinder Society Scenario #3-06: Rise of the Vault Lord

And the Pathfinder Bounty:
PZOPFB0001E Pathfinder Society Bounty #1: The Whitefang Wyrm

We apologize for the delay. Venture Officers who usually get scenarios should still get them Wednesday. Tonya and Alex will be in touch with others regarding running these scenarios at events this weekend.

While the retail release is delayed, all of the above scenarios/events are legal for play as of Wednesday, Aug 26th.

GMs that this impacts please reach out to your local venture-officer for more guidance.

I guess it's a good thing we didn't schedule them until next weekend. ;-)

I am scheduled to run PFS2 #2-01 this coming Friday evening. Whenever it gets released is when I can start to prep. Should we expect this alteration of release day to be the same for future releases?

IIRC it has been stated by Paizo on another thread that this alternation is an exception, rather than a new normal.

Correct; as I responded to you on 2-01, Robert, this is an aberration, not the new normal. If you need 2-01 before Friday, please reach out to your supervising Venture Officer.

The Pathfinder Season 2 scenarios did not drop with the Venture Officer batch. Got the ACG and SFS scenarios though.

If you didn't receive something you expected to, please let us know on the VO discord server instead of these pages. These are customer service/patron communications and we don't always see items in a timely manner.

Did this issue affect subscriptions as well? When my Aug subs generated, they only included the SFS materials, not the PFS ones.

Hi Shisumo,

This did not affect subscriptions, and it looks like the delayed fulfillment of your August subscriptions caused your scenarios to not generate. I have gone ahead and granted the missing scenarios and you should see them in your downloads now.
