I was looking at the Zen Archer monk archetype and well I don't know if the monk's ability AC Bonus (Ex) applies, it says: "When unarmored and unencumbered, the monk adds his Wisdom bonus (if any) to his AC and his CMD. In addition, a monk gains a +1 bonus to AC and CMD at 4th level. "So when he's using a bow is he completely unprotected or with the archetype still gaining the bonus when using the bow?
Or is a house rule used to keep it serving? I think not occupying the wisdom bonus leaves the monk(chained) very unprotected :(

A bow is not armor.

I have to ask here... what made you think you'd lose the AC bonus?
Sounds like a misconception between "armored" and "armed", not unusual if you are no native speaker.
