Can we get a spellcasting version of the swashbuckler?

Cast portal, dive through, roll, come up both-wands-blazing-dual-wield, neem-neem, they're Wands of Petrification, flourish to straighen the wizard hat, clap to cast shockwave and the statues shatter.

Isn't that what multiclass dedications are for?

Panache doesn't work on spells.

Honestly that sounds like a Spell Dancer Magus from PF1. They could: Round 1, set up a spell dance and cast buffs. Round 2, Dimension Door, cast spell, and move around or attack. Round 3, do whatever else.

I have no idea if PF2 Magus will ever have the ability to do that sequence.

Maybe it might be possible with some magic items? But the action economy is still questionable.

A spellcasting class that operates on "do I have [this binary state]" for various effects could work.

I doubt we'll see a Panache-like mechanic for a pure caster, since spell slots are their own kind of special boost.
A Magus/Swashbuckler will likely blend okay, and it'd be interesting to see Magus skills for Panache though I doubt we'll see that either.

Yet with Magus (et al) we might see that sort of dramatic flair with action economy re: casting, feats like Sudden Charge or Skirmish Strike, but w/ spells. Might even get Quick Draw for wands, seems inevitable someday if only via a Wandmaster archetype.

One could say PCs can already do that exact routine now w/ Acrobatics or MCD Rogue for Mobility. It just wouldn't all happen so smoothly until replayed in one's mind and there'd be no specific mechanical benefits gained. But it'd be a cool way to flavor how one enters, fights, then perhaps Intimidates whatever enemies that remain. It'd just take 24-seconds or so, and you'd have to be facing incompetent enemies such that they didn't disrupt in some way.

Not sure if you are going for game mechanics or just the look and feel of the character. If the second one, then Rogue Eldritch Trickster might get you close to what you are looking for.

I think it could potentially work as a Focus only caster.

Honestly, a hex blade that gains panache every time someone fails a save to a hex and they gain a focus hex at level one is kinda close.

Or a fire focus spell with persistent fire damage that triggers with strikes kinda like incendiary aura and then triggering panache on dealing fire damage.

Ehhhh isn't it kinda like that with Bon Mot/Demoralize+Spell?

You flaunt your supremacy with Bon Mot and Hit them with a will save while they are crippled.
Or you cower them to submission with Intimidate and hit them with a Fort/Ref save.

And if we're talking setup, You can even go Bard, preload a Dirge of doom with Lingering, Bon Mot and another action of your choice (stride to get close, raise shield, shoot them with an arrow, etc), and next round you smack them while they are at -3 saves, bonus points if you also have Dread striker from rogue multiclass and hit them with a Strike again at them being -3 to AC with your 3rd action of the round.

Hmm, you could use Eldritch Trickster as a guide.

Get a spellcasting MC Dedication at 1st. Possibly limited choice.

Have a lvl 2 or 4 feat that makes Panache work with Touch and/or Ranged Touch spells.

Most difficult concept for me rn is, what should their bonus way to GET panache be?

Maybe need a Skill Feat like Bon Mot that would allow using Arcana or Occult to make some sort of combat action.

The default way to use Arcana (et al.) in combat is Recall Knowledge, but that may not have the right type of flair.

Magical Jazz Hands in your face!

Mesmerizing finger tuts?
I like the idea of messing with someone's head with a non-charism based skill feat.
Disturbing Knowledge does this but it's underwhelming.
A blast of harmless fireworks, shadows creeping in the corners of their eyes, voices wispering in their ears,or foxfire and smoke pouring from your eyes, all would be good descriptions of a skill driven magical debuff.

What about a Skill Feat that lets you use Arcana/Occult to Create a Diversion or Feint?

Basically it would let you use Arcana/Occult to create a quick flash of light or a phantom noise to distract an enemy.

But then we've given them both a new skill feat and a free dedication early...

This may be beyond the scope of Style, it might need to wait til the introduction of class specific archetypes.
