How do you account, on a "Chronicle Sheet", when you purchase a boon? On the right side of the sheet there are places for items bought and sold, but for fame there is only "Starting Fame", "Fame Earned", and "Total Fame". No spot for spending fame.
Also, very few of my sheets have either a sheet number or starting numbers/totals for XP, gold or fame. Are they invalid? Should I print them out and add the numbers by hand?
Thirdly, can items or boons be bought between adventures, or must they be bought during an adventure?
Thanks!

Everyone does different things for tracking. Here's what I do!
I have a google drive that I keep electronic copies of my chronicle sheets in. A separate folder for each character!
(And to show no one is perfect, I need to add that I still have yet to scan Pip's first two paper chronicles and get them added to that folder! Those two chronicles are still lying in a folder in my boyfriend Bret's office, which I haven't been able to visit since we got locked down.)
I also keep track of Pip's spending, and the various money and fame she receives for each chronicle on an ITS (Item Tracking Sheet). My boyfriend Bret created a blank ITS google spreadsheet that I like to use for this. He has a few sample purchases in there which you can remove or change.
Feel free to take the blank one and make a copy.
For tracking boons, I type them and put them at the bottom of Pip's character sheet on the Paizo forums under a spoiler. That way I can find them easily later.

If you are tracking them on paper, then print them out and fill them the rest of the way. Items can be bought between adventures, and then you can mark what you purchased on the sheet.
(I use the ITS so that I don't have to track this stuff on my chronicle sheets.)

If you're solely doing PFS2 online (such as nearly all of my games) Google Drive has a DocHub extension that you can open PDFs with and fill them with text.
I agree it is annoying that there isn't an expense box for Fame. We've had one for PFS1 and SFS, so hopefully Season 2 will add one.
I describe my Fame expenses in the box of notes on the bottom left.

Here's a picture of one of my chronicle sheets with fame expenditures.
At least there's actually a fame box unlike the initial sheets for PF2s releasee.

Yes, I am only playing online. Even before the lockdown, I knew of only one PF2 game (my first GMing try) and definitely no PFS games.
What is this DocHub extension? Also, what IS a DocHub extension?
Thanks everyone for the answers. I am using a spreadsheet to keep track of my character's vitals, but I was told that things (boons, equipment bought and sold, etc.) were supposed to be on the actual "Chronicle Sheet".

What is this DocHub extension?
Upload the PDF of your Chronicle to Google Drive.
Right click => Open With => DocHub => Fill out your Chronicle
I recommend then downloading the edited file to your computer, deleting the original from your Drive, and uploading the edited file back to your Drive.
I keep all of my Chronicles in individualized folders that GMs can peruse as I play more games.

Bret's recently updated the PFS ITS sheet so that it can track your XP, your level and the number of XP that you need to level. So now it can track things you spent on, adventures you did, and boons that you picked up with fame. (You could probably list other boons that you pick up with ACP or playtest points on there as well.)
Feel free to take the blank one and make a copy. I like this because it gives me one central place to look and reduces the amount of editing that I have to do on my own digital sheets. However, Nefreet's method is also cool. You have options!

I finally got a chance to try this, but how do you save the altered PDF? I tried the "Download/Export" to "Computer", but when I clicked on the downloaded file, it was the original unaltered PDF.
