Undead Healing

Rules Discussion

Ok. I have read through all the Threads (a lot btw); and I still need clarification on if ANY Negative Trait spell will do the trick?

I am planning on making a Bard Necromancer and wanted to know if he would have access to paths to heal his minions?

If the text of the spell doesn't explicitly detail restoring HP to undead, the spell does not restore HP to undead.

The only CRB spell that does that is Harm.

It is not an Occult spell, only Divine.

So you'll need to be a bard/necromancer/cleric

A Cleric seems like they'd have a much better time with this, as they can get Harm as a Font Spell.

Thank you.

I have already done the "Bad Touch" Cleric in PF1. Trying a different angle.

Maybe build a Divine Sorcerer, but refluffing her abilities as musical in nature? You call yourself a bard, but you're a sorcerer "under the hood"? (You would still be intense charismatic, so most people would be easy to fool)

There is also the fact that many undead are mindless, so you wont actually benefit from the main bard feature with them.

I looked and liked the Undead Sorcerer, but, it will be a bit too much like my PF1 Cleric. But it is a good build...lol.

Not planning on making my Minions until 5th with the Ritual.
Ghouls will benefit from Bard stuff.

Is this an evil or moral ambiguous campaign or a campaign in a world where raising the dead isn’t evil?

I don’t believe that Soothe, the occult healing spell, has a positive or negative energy tag. However, Harm is the only one that would allow you to heal more than one ghoul at a time.

Lol...nope; it's for The Extinction Curse!

I am planning on playing THE NECROMANCER!

Hmmm...Soothe; you say...scratch that; targets living creatures.
