The problem I see with Gorum's DFT is that...you need to worship Gorum. Or be Chaotic Neutral.

Both of these things can cause some serious mess at a table. I did some looking in on Gorum and he's uh...big on confrontation we'll say. And breaking stuff. Likes to break stuff.

Hes basically Khorne but less overtly evil.

Huh. The how-to books for a game of imagination that people play for fun "should be mind-numbingly boring".

That's certainly a unique opinion, one that I'd respect (if vehemently disagree with) if it wasn't followed by attacks on the livelihood of that game's creators for not adhering to said opinion.

So instead of having a pleasant conversation about the degree to which the rules should serve the players versus simply constraining them, might I offer a hearty "go play something else" instead?

Meh, there are a large number of nations that list Gorum as one of the most worshiped deities. Some of them good like Nirmathas. Basically anybody who might see war regularly pays tribute to him. Adventurers who see combat almost every single day of their lives would make a lot of sense.
