Could you be more specific on what rules you are looking for?
For drones, see the Core Rulebook under the mechanic class.
For creature creation (robot or otherwise) see Alien Archive 1. The rules you need are in the back.
For building a creature, and having credit costs by feature, or something of the sort, you'll need homebrew or a 3rd party supplement that I am not familiar with.
Or are you looking for the Mechfinder homebrew project?

Officially the only things are the drone class feature and some drone Technological Items which can be crafted by anyone with the UPBs and enough Engineering ranks.
But it's very easy to jury-rig robot creation rules via just using the Companion rules in alien archive 3, but replacing survival with engineering.

Hmmm...I thought building by credit cost would been integrated into the rules in one of the Paizo books by now.
And I do remember Paizo saying something about Mech being in one of their upcoming books from last years GenCon panels...

Good to know, thanks!

Either that or attempt to mimic animate dead, but for robots.

Something to bear in mind is the reason *why* there are no current rules for a player to turn credits and skill checks into a loyal NPC follower: because it has great potential to be broken as hell. Note how expensive hiring NPC followers is. That is roughly how pricey making or buying a general purpose robot follower would need to be.
