(This subject recently came up in the Extinction Curse subforum, but this issue is perplexing enough to warrant a higher visibility)
In short, the Interactive Maps that ship with adventure path books are in poor quality. The resolution is terrible, making the maps unsuitable for the intended purpose.
The most perplexing issue is that the maps inside the adventures themselves are not nearly as bad.
Please update your procedures for creating your interactive maps, dear Paizo, because whatever you are doing right now is doing it wrong.
That's just not my opinion, by the way. It is objective fact. If I take a map from the adventure book and blow it up to exact same size as in the Interactive Maps supplement, the result is much more clear.
Let me provide an example:

(To the left, we have a zoomed-in piece of page 34 of The Show Must Go On. To the right, we have the same piece with identical zoom from page 7 of The Show Must Go On Interactive Maps)
Please, please pretty please.

Morning :) Has this been address anywhere? I couldn't find the thread on the product discussion forum. I would love to get the higher resolution jpeg or png files for foundary vtt.

I have found that for some people, there was some weird cache problem where the PDF for the Extinction Curse interactive map PDF was always the "pre-fix" map, even if the zip file and the main PDF was somehow a more recent one. Downloading from a different browser/computer worked fine to get the updated map. The resolution is still not as high as the most recent adventures, but that's way better.
