I love new material, but I am a bit worried about the trending with the release schedule. In the first 10 months we'll see eight hard cover releases for Pathfinder 2E.
Core Rulebook
Bestiary
Bestiary II
Gamemastery Guide
Lost Omens World Guide
Lost Omens Character Guide
Lost Omens Gods and Magic
Absalom, City of Lost Omens
followed closely by two more in July
Lost Omens Legends
Advanced Player's Guide
That's 10 HC books in a year not to mention all the accessories like the spell cards, bestiary cards, all new pawn boxes, maps, etc.
Is Paizo releasing too fast? Is 2E going the way of rules-bloat even faster than 1E did?
not sure, but this thread might be more appropriate for the Pathfinder 2E general discussion group

No, because they’re not releasing monthly companions and bi-monthly chronicles. They’’re releasing the hardcovers instead.
There is also a certain amount of front loading to get the “basics”, a category that’s undergone some expansion in the last ten years, out as soon as practicable.

You go and tell that to all the "where's my dhampir Oracle, Paizo?" people.

Well you are including books that are not really about rules in your "rules-bloat" theory. There aren't a lot of rules in the World Guide, and the Absalom and Legends books will probably also be light on rules.

So your list a bit misleading. First they released both the Bestiary and CRB on the same date. They are unlikely to have two Rule books released on the same day going forward. Secondly as was stated above, the 4 world guide books replaces 12 Player companion books and 6 Setting books. So 4 vs. 18 isn't really that many. Really it helps to REDUCE bloat, as fewer books allows for more quality control and avoids just printing any rule they can come up with just to fill 32 pages every month.
