Wooooooo Hoooooo!

The Exchange

Hmmm... about a month before my wedding, maybe I should go to Paizocon as my bachelor party event. Just wish it was on the same coast as me.

It would be, but I take a toothbrush with me.

Film Festival sounds like a great prelude. I've never been to it.

Umm, Blog date still reads Monday.
Edit:
Fixed! That was fast work. It changed as I was posting. :)

Yes. PaizoCon 2012: Japan.

We'll all it 'KaijuCon' ... wait, that's already taken by a bunch of anime nerds? Okay, fine, 'BishiCon'.

... wait, that's taken, too? I give up.

Sovereign Court Wayfinder, PaizoCon Founder

Excellent....PaizoCon domination continues! Year 4, and lookin' good!

Expect our annual Meet and Eat event, and perhaps another Out and About in Seattle tour of sorts. And maybe our Sunday Dim Sum Run can happen again!

FUN! EXCITEMENT! ADVENTURE!

Gorbacz was thinking more in the vicinity of the other former Axis power.

The one with masterwork tanks.

He should have stowed away in Dragnmoon's luggage back when he had a chance.

Gorbacz is talking about the other former Axis power.

Honestly, between the visa requirement and TSA fondling I would prefer Japan over US any day ;)

We call it a "lifestyle choice".

You can always come to the UK version the Month before ;)

How 'bout an actual question about PaizoCon? ;)

How much will tickets be? Will the admission tickets and Dinner tickets be separate again this year?

Just want to make sure the appropriate funds are transferred from my Swiss bank account by the 21!

Liberty's Edge

I trust information on having an 'official event' will be handy, too. I intend to run a couple events this year, either officially or in the 'free gaming' room.

Speaking of SIFF, are any other locals or early arrivals planning to catch a few movies? We should synchronize schedules. I don't know how much I'll be able to keep up with on-the-spot reviews this time, but I might have some hot tips from the press screenings and, even better, the fool serious crowd.

The biggest area of need from 2010 was the vendor area. It needed a bigger room, more vendors and more things going on with those vendors.

The funniest thing that happened at PaizoCon 2010 (for me) was when I visted the Kobold Quarterly/Open Design table. I picked up a business card from Wolfgang Baur....then I spent $20+ on copies of Kobold Quarterly and got the chance to spin their Wheel of Swag. And I won.....(wait for it).....a business card from Wolfgang Baur!

Both will be exactly the same as last year. (Maybe somebody else can tell you what those prices were, because I don't know.)

We will be moving the vendor area to a larger room, and I think having more vendors is very likely.

Awesome. It's really fun to watch this thing grow. And you guys do a fantastic job of improving on it every year. I'm currently in "negotiations" with my wife on making it out there again. This is the one convention I'd love to attend every year if I can. But it always seems like I'm challenged with the timing of it. Last year, it was Father's Day. This year, our 10th year wedding anniversary. Yowza. I suggested she come along and we could tour Seattle, but swinging airfare is going to be tough enough for one, much less two. :-(

16th-17th July 2011 it is. Keep an eye on the PaizoCon UK website or the PaizoCon UK 2011 thread on this forum for further details.

Sweet! I hope to be a part of this again this year!

Cool - thanks Vic!

So who remembers how much admission tickets and Dinner tickets were last year???

Liberty's Edge Contributor

Redmond, we (may) have a problem. It appears I may have conflicting tasking for that weekend. Unfortunately, I think that's the same weekend as the Portland Rose Festival. I really hope I don't have significant tasking for the Rose Festival. :/

Shadow Lodge

Well, I shall most certainly be there. And I hope that more of the Venture-Captains will make the trip! Always an amazing show, and I'm excited for this year :)
