Special Materials with armor ruling

Rules Questions

Core rulebook specifies restrictions on several special materials for weapons but nothing says that you can't use several materials to enhance armor. I didn't play in Pathfinder and for me it was logical to allow the use of several special materials, but GMs with experience in Pathfinder mentioned restriction on only one material for armor there and allowed to use only one. So we decided to look for opinions from other people. WDYT?

A note, special materials are armory, not CRB.

It does say 'woven into armor composite' rather than 'made from _____'.

So, I'm not immediately seeing anything preventing you from making your wonderful rainbow armor. However, there's also nothing allowing it, so it's up to the GM.

I wouldn't allow it personally. Even if it was allowed, I probably wouldn't spend the money on it either. They're all nice little bonuses, but, unlike armor upgrades, they don't transfer to a new suit of armor. That's a lot of money spent on something you might discard in a level or two.

Agreed - it's up to the GM, but it seems to be a problem that fixes itself. Weapons and armor are very transitory in Starfinder.
