Is there an official eratta for Starfinder? They just released one for PF2, and I know there are some errors in Starfinder (Drow, for instance, have SR in all their entries, but when you look at the racial stats for using them as a PC, they have no way to gain spell resistance. So it should be in-born but it's not there.) But I am not finding anything (The PF2 Core book had it linked off the product page.) Or is the FAQ all we're going to get?

Uh, I have nothing to add about official errata, but Drow PCs simply don't have SR. That's not a mistake. PCs have different stats than monsters, and that isn't going to change.

Sovereign Court

Yeah PC versions of alien races are often a bit weakened with abilities that would be far too good for PCs to possess.

There's a FAQ - why they call it a FAQ and not errata, I couldn't say.

A simple google comes up with it. But it's at https://paizo.com/paizo/faq/v5748nruor1hi

Same reason NPCs always add full level to damage, both at CR 1-2 and with small arms: the rules have been tuned for PC balance (no weapon specialization at level 1-2 to penalize weapon proficiency dips and make a bigger feat sink, no full specialization for small arms to make them a big sacrifice not to engage in that feat sink or focus on your other class abilities).

Right, I know about the FAQ, I am talking about fixing all the mistakes and errors, like they've done for every other product. The FAQ isn't complete by a long shot.

I was thinking of that, but was thinking that it might be an error. I'm more concerned with all the other mistakes through the books, or places where clarity would be needed. Since they've done it for all their other books, I was expecting with the next printing coming soon, they would have something other than the FAQ.

You didn't say you needed it "complete". :)

The FAQ is what we have. There is nothing else. Many of us would like updates to the FAQ. But I would also like a pony, and my own talk show.

Yeah, except ponies and talk shows require an absurd amount of money and attention in the long run, and an errata does not, be it us or Paizo staff. An faq is not an errata, nor should it be treated as one, it's for "frequently asked questions". The fact that we all want a complete errata, or in this case, faq, is self-explanatory, just like how any gamer worth his salt wants a game with as few bugs as possible and patches when needed. Now stop acting smug just because someone didn't include a word.

We all agree with you, we're just numb from longer exposure to Paizo's total indifference to cleaning up their mistakes.
