Extinction Curse seems like the type of AP that lends itself to some different music choices, whether traditional circus music or the dark and creepy twisted versions of the same. Let’s start a list of some good songs, playlists, and sources!

Here's a collection of classic "Screamer" circus marches (Traditionally played at the Circus when there's a bunch of things going on at once in order to hype up the crowd.) Might want to curate these to remove a couple of the super-familiar ones, but it's a good place to start. Though I admit that the recording of "Thunder & Blazes" on that playlist is one of the better ones I've heard.

Well, I'm a fan of the Greatest Showman, and I bet at least some of those songs will work :)

"Welcome to the Black Parade" by My Chemical Romance is certainly heroic material for adventurers with a twist

The soundtrack to the documentary "Fast, Cheap & Out of Control" is haunting and circus like. It'd be a good go-to when you want background circus-y music that's not too on-the-nose.

I would be tempted to use some of Queen's more operatic music like The Show Must Go On, Who Wants to Live Forever and, of course, Bohemian Rhapsody to set the mood. Killing Floor's Carnival Mix would be good for the rival circus for a bit more of a horror feel.

I'd also be tempted to use some bluegrass/country inspired music for the between towns travel culture vibe, like The Dead South (e.g. In Hell I'll Be In Good Company) or The Flame in the Flood soundtrack (e.g. The Flame in the Flood by Chuck Ragan and The Fearless Kin). Something heavily acoustic-based but with a lazier tone.

I'm going to be using a lot of music by The Blasting Company from Over the Garden Wall to set a dustbowl-esque tone. Maybe a bit of Sherlock Holmes soundtrack, though I used it for Curse of the Crimson Throne it would fit here too.

Oh. And Carnivale has a few good tracks I'm planning on using.

These are all great suggestions. Thanks.

I’m going to be running this for my group and really want the music to be a big part of the game. Has anyone found anything they think could work well on Syrinscape? I’m going to go through everything I have on there and I’ll share soundsets that I find.

Circus Clown Calliope Suite would be quite appropriate.

Really, just about anything on a calliope would work.

This might do the trick.

That's so sweet, and I found good boss combat music in the suggestions.

Rasputin by Boney M on the same fairground organ.

The fairground organ idea sent me searching on spotify and I quickly stumbled on this playlist. I had been searching for carnival and circus as my general keywords. For whatever reason didn't think to try fairgrounds.

Fairground Organ Music

I haven't listened to much of it, but after a random sampling it seems pretty promising. I'll probably use it as a spice in some of my other playlists.

I also have some ideas for a playlist

Dark Archive

My key musical piece for this AP:

You're a chicken!
Well, you're a dead chicken!
Oh yeah!?! Well, you're a dead chicken with a pulley in the middle!
What?
Just get in the cannon!

Edit. Here's the scene from the game.

My playlists are ringtones of all famous phone brands

Dark Cloud 2 soundtrack has some very good beats that would fit the Extinction Curse very well.

While it's not circus music, I recommend Cities in Dust by Siouxsie and the Banshees (or the cover by the Everlove) for Book 5, Chapter 3: City in Dust, in which the heroes explore Shraen.
