Damn, Sunday's episode was brutal at the end. I have some vague notion of what's in the book this is based on, so as soon as they said Rook's Rest I knew what was coming. Epic battle, sad ending.
At least I got to see the look on that a-hole Cole's face when he started to get an inkling of the horrors he'd helped unleash.

Ouch! Poor Ser Steffon. He only wanted to serve his queen. Still, in the end, Seasmoke got his rider. I look forward to seeing Addam kick some butt.
And finally! They mention Daeron. I don't recall his name even being mentioned before now, though I might have missed it at some point.
Aemond, psycho though he is, is one of my favorite characters. The underlying conflict between he and Daemon is very interesting, since they both seem to be very much alike. Plus, I like the actor portraying him. He was in The Last Kingdom as well.

It seems I forgot to post after last week's episode.
So....now we've got the dragon seeds. Though, if I recall what I know of the source material, it was Jace's idea to go that route. Their making him seem much more antagonistic towards the idea in the show. Anyway, I loved it when a certain Prince Regent had to turn tail and run.
And last night's finale was.... slightly underwhelming, but only because I was hoping for more violence and dragon action. I don't like the direction they seem to be going in with Rhaena. Except for some excellent scenes with Viserys' ghost, and a few creepy but awesome dream sequences, I thought Daemon was mostly wasted until these last two episodes. Now he can get back to what I think he does best - being an absolute badass in battle. I'm glad we finally got to see Tessarion and Daeron, even if only from a distance.
So I look forward to next season and what looks to be all-out war. Hopefully, we won't have to wait too long for it.
