Hi there,
I want to understand if I got this whole stuff in the correct way.
Correct these statements if needed
1) an enemy with 10 fire weakness takes 10 extra damage regardless the fire damage with which you hit them ( 1, 3 or 10 fire dmg )
2) an enemy with 10 fire resistance reduce any fire damage he takes by 10.
3) an ally under the champion reaction effect, so a xx all damage reduction, reduce anything by xx
So an attack which deal 20 piercing dmg, 10 fire dmg and 10 acid dmg will only deal 10 piercing dmg.
BONUS) what about a champion reaction under the effect oh a protection sphere, on an ally with some resistances?
Example:
Champion lvl 10 will use his reaction on an ally, for a 12 all dmg reduction.
The ally is also within the range of the protection sphere, which will reduce all dmg by 4.
The ally is also wearing a 5 fire resistance rune, and has the armor specialization, which gives him 2+1 (from rune) slashing dmg reduction.
Now, an enemy will deal 15 slashing dmg, 10 fire dmg and 5 acid damage on a single attack.
What would be the total dmg reduction?
What would be calculation order?

Thus works a lot better with all of the relative text present.
RETRIBUTIVE STRIKE [reaction]CHAMPION
Trigger An enemy damages your ally, and both are within 15 feet of you.
You protect your ally and strike your foe. The ally gains resistance to all damage against the triggering damage equal to 2 + your level. If the foe is within reach, make a melee Strike against it.
PROTECTOR’S SPHERE
FOCUS 4UNCOMMONABJURATIONCLERIC
Domain protection
Cast [two-actions] somatic, verbalArea 15-foot emanationDuration sustained up to 1 minute
A protective aura emanates out from you, safeguarding you and your allies. You gain resistance 3 to all damage. Your allies also gain this resistance while they are within the area.Heightened (+1) The resistance increases by 1.
ResistanCe
If you have resistance to a type of damage, each time you take that type of damage, you reduce the amount of damage you take by the listed amount (to a minimum of 0 damage). Resistance can specify combinations of damage types or other traits. For instance, you might encounter a monster that’s resistant to non-magical bludgeoning damage, meaning it would take less damage from bludgeoning attacks that weren’t magical, but would take normal damage from your +1 mace (since it’s magical) or a non-magical spear (since it deals piercing damage). A resistance also might have an exception. For example, resistance 10 to physical damage (except silver) would reduce any physical damage by 10 unless that damage was dealt by a silver weapon. If you have more than one type of resistance that would apply to the same instance of damage, use only the highest applicable resistance value. It’s possible to have resistance to all damage. When an effect deals damage of multiple types and you have resistance to all damage, apply the resistance to each type of damage separately. If an attack would deal 7 slashing damage and 4 fire damage, resistance 5 to all damage would reduce the slashing damage to 2 and negate the fire damage entirely.
So the first thing with your stacked resistances there is that only the 12 points of resistance to all damage matters. The end damage is 3 points of slashing.
