I for one welcome our new green Kender overlords. Though their arrival will make Rise of the Runelords really, really awkward. Those poor goblin babbies... Maybe a later AP will explain why the sudden magical shift. Or maybe all those gobos we've been slaughtering have been poor understood adoreables after all. Stranger things have happened, and redemption of supposedly irredeemable monsters (or just attractive ladies with dark hair) is a continuing theme in Golarion.

A quick fix would be to just mostly ignore the flavor text and make goblins uncommon (as a PC race). Or outlaw them entirely. Your loss though, goblins are a lot of fun. I would die to be part of an all goblin party. No, you read it correctly, it would literally kill me. But it would be fun too.

Now, is there anything else I can say that has already been said at least five dozen times in these threads before?

Disclaimer: my NE Irriseni snow goblin wizard Patchwork "Patch" Rimetooth is actually blue, not green, and neither mischievous nor fanciful. He's a violent, paranoid psychopath who obsesses over his "family" (meaning the party) like a dragon does its treasure horde. His spellbook is a stolen arcane tome he secretly taught himself to read with, and now looks like the scrawlings of a madman (which Patch is).

And yes, I did name him after *that* Patch.
