So, I want to build an animal instinct barbarian - ape. I get increased unarmed damage and "grapple." How does allowing my fist attacks to grapple help me in any way? I can already grapple. The weapon qualifier for grapple doesn't really help because I'm unarmed.
Any help is appreciated.

If you wear handwraps with potency runes (+1, +2, +3), this bonus will also be applied to your grapple checks as an ape-barb.
