What would be the cost of getting a tattoo in Society play?
Specifically, I'm likely to bring up an Ifrit, and while they have Darkvision, the rest of the party probably doesn't. A Fire Ink tattoo would cost 10gp for the ink and be a permanent light equal to a torch. While it normally gives the Sickened effect, an Ifrit would be immune due to their fire resistance.
Ideally this would be a simple band around the wrist or arm, able to be hid by a bracelet or sleeve. Considering the cost of ink and the vague tattoo pricing, I'd say 50gp range?

To create an dhampir, fetchling, goblin, ifrit, kitsune, nagaji, oread, sylph, undine, or wayang character, you must have a Chronicle sheet that opens the race as a legal option at character creation.
Sorry, but without a Chronicle sheet for on Ifrit, the question is rather moot. :(

Tattoo: The cost of a tattoo depends on the quality, size, and number of colors used. A coin-sized tattoo in blue ink that will blur over a decade may cost 1 cp, a hand-sized one in black ink that won't fade costs 1 sp, and a tattoo covering an entire back takes several sessions and costs 10 gp. Each additional color costs as much as a single tattoo of its size.
Its in the APG. Lex has a few of them.
edit: Sorry at work..don't tell my VC!
2nd edit to fix first edit....again don't tell my VC!!

Girlinhat, what I did with my Ifrit was put ranks into Craft: Tattoo. Then at the beginning of every scenario in which I want it, I spend the 10gp on fire ink and tell the GM I'm taking 10 on my Craft check.
(Because it's not on the allowed "permanent items" list, you have to redo it every scenario, but 10gp isn't much for a pretty neat effect.)

I don't have mine with me, but doesn't Ultimate Equipment have prices on tattoos in it?
Either that, or Pirates of the Inner Sea might, IIRC.
Edit: Found it on the PRD
The price of a tattoo depends on the quality, size, and number of colors used. While these prices represent the baseline, tattoos—like any other artwork—can be worth far more depending on the prestige of the artist.
I think that should cover the OP's question :)
