Bard Dedication clarification

Rules Discussion

The Bard Dedication says:

Quote:
Choose a muse as you would if you were a bard. You have that muse for all purposes, allowing you to take that muse’s feats, but you don’t gain any of the other abilities it grants

Does this means that if the PC takes (for example) the Enigma Muse, he gets the Bardic Lore for free?

Or does it means that he can, when he gets a new class feat slot, *select* Bardic Lore!?!?

Thanks for clearing this up!

It allows you to take the feat via Basic Muse's Whispers (or Advanced Muse's Whispers later on). It doesn't grant it to you automatically.
